I took a break from hamsters after having my daughter. However now that she’s a bit older I feel I can safely own one again. I’m trying to reinform myself, and came across your page for the first time in years. I started watching you when you had Einstein and it’s nice to be back watching you again. Thank you for continuity informing new and old Hamster Owners!

hii, im so grateful i came accross your channel, i used to have a hamster and i noticed all the gaps in my care, i do want to get another hamster but because of your videos this next hamster WILL be living in the right environment, with a wheel that is the right size and not a small pets at home cage!!

🤪Googly eyed coconut!!🤣 I have one of those coconuts in my stash but I never thought to put eyes on it. You can paint the cart sometime in the future when you get bored of the original design which is already very cute. You are always so very creative.

My current hamster is the first one I've had that has shown any interest in shreddy roller type toys. I've tried them with all my previous boys - just in case but none of them ever showed interest. This boy absolutely shredded it within days.

I had subscribed with them when my hamsters were alive. My hamsters did not like any of their food items, like parsley stems, or dried herbs and cucumbers, veggie slices, and cranberries. I got them stuffs like chews and a lot of other stuffs that were ignored by my hamsters. Though hamsters have different tastes. They already had coconut hides.

I want to go bigger! gotta feeling like my boyfrind doesn't like the idea, oh well! Ive took all of your tips and tricks, and it's coming on nicey. How dangerous is it using glue guns are to make toys and hides with ?
@SomethingAnimal2 ай бұрын
Hot glue has the potential to be safe as long as you are absolutely certain your individual hamster won't chew on it, or as long as you use it in places that are inaccessible. The glue used for hot glue sticks is a type of non-water-soluble plastic so you have to be cautious about how and where it is used because it will not break down in the digestive system. PVA glue (aka: white glue/craft glue/school glue) is the preferable choice for chewers or toys that might be chewed on. It's non-toxic and water soluble so if consumed it passes easily through the digestive system without harm, it's also very strong once dry and can be used on a wide range of materials including wood. Flour glue is another option that works well for paper and card projects, you just mix equal parts flour and water, and a small amount of salt in a pot, and bring it to a low boil while stirring continuously until it thickens up. Take it off the heat and let it cool down and you can use it as a safe glue paste.

The price varies a bit per box depending on your subscription level and where you live, as Hamster Mail is based in the UK. If you subscribe on a month-by-month basis, it's £17 per box (~$22USD at today's exchange rate). There's an additional fee for shipping. UK delivery is £2.99 and international delivery is £4.99 (~$7 USD).
