My Dear and beloved father STILL HAS his original 1964 Chevelle, He has it in a barn in San Juan Puerto Rico. The paint is not original. He had it repainted at least 5 times that I remember and it looks outstanding. Dad is now 84 and recently told me to “ Come get the car” He was a Jersey City police officer and giving us a great childhood, beautiful home and upbringing… This is his baby. Now he is passing it down to me. It will be back in New Jersey in August of 2024 Lord willing.

It looks like the 70s cars but all the technology is from today dependability, suspension, brakes, handling, twin turbo, the amount of horsepower is putting out, then you go back to my original comment it's a matter of how many are available and how many people want one that's what affects the price.

You captured the pure essence of the 70 in a modern interpretation. I 100% agree about the '70 Chevelle. When I was a kid in the '70's - early '80's that was one of the top cars for teen drivers to get for their first car. Black, white stripes, raised in the rear a little, deep dish Cragar SS's in the rear, standard in the front, lettered tires, and chrome tip duals out the rear. To really top it off, a racing cam to make the idle sound throaty hit-and-miss. The thing is, for the time, these cars were already expensive. Where you could buy a typical used car for $500-$750, these were often $1500. A LOT of money back in circa 1978! HAHA.

I practically had one handed to me for $1200 - BUT, I didn't have the money & my local bank wouldn't lend it to me. I'm probably still alive because I was too immature at that time to be driving a car like that..

When you account for inflation, in 1970 a Chevelle SS was about the price of a Honda Civic Si today.

I don't know Joseph when I was a kid my father bought a 1980 Buick skylark brand new for 8,000 bucks 4 door not a sport's car so I'm pretty sure a car like this would be more expensive and that was just a two year difference but then again there's always Google haven't checked but correct me if I'm wrong

Sorry Joseph I assumed you meant used 1,000 dollars up for these sport's car I thought you meant new

Stunning car, the best engines, paint, tires, carbon fiber body, and leather, but there's is that "something" about the original that can never be replaced

Love It, would love to work on a car like that from start to finish!

I am a die hard fox body mustang guy, but you guys did an incredible job with that car. Hats off. Any chance of a 70 El Camino SS, or a 70 Nova SS ???

My Brother had the 70 Road Runner and my Brother n law had the SS 396. They were both very fun and very fast, but I have always loved the body of the SS. I was younger but I got the 78 Trans Am. There is something about loving a vehicle that I understand. Today, I have a Model S Plaid.

YOU’RE KILLING ME SMALLS!! 😱 My first car was a 68 Camaro, I have a 2010 5th Gen Re-emerged Camaro now! 😎 My second car was a 71 Chevelle!! Loved that car as much as the Camaro. I hope you’ve inspired Chevy to bring it back! I love what you did! You did to the Chevelle what Chevy did with the Camaro, retro yet modern!! 😎 I wish they were back! I still remember Cragar SS wheels on my 71, with raised letter tires, and lifting the back up with air shocks! Let’s not forget the shag carpet on the rear deck! 🤦🏻♂️🤣

The target market is all the retirees that wish they had that car when they were teenagers. Now that they have their money that they saved ,they either want to race the car or invest it, keep it and maybe hold on to it for their children. Unfortunately there's a low amount of cars that are going to be made so therefore a lot of people won't get the chance being able to buy one. You won't be able to make them fast enough and I'm sure the price is going to be through the ceiling Great design Good luck

The target is the uber rich collector who wants a car nobody else has.

Flawless execution. I don't think anyone else but you could have pulled this off. 1500 whp is insane. And the fact that it is streetable is makes it even better. Great job.

Absolutely fantastic, just excellent execution. Far too much money for me, but since chevy will almost certainly never make retro Chevelle, this is the only game in town.

Wish GM would produce these. They really have dropped the ball on the Camero and basically a lot of their models.
