We've missed you. Nice Truck...350 is a boss truck..Good job going with a Ford! We have always had Ford's! Our 93 has 312,000 miles and we just upgraded our Explorer to a F150 Lariet... Explorers can't pull AirStreams. So we Welcome Victor to the Family! Here comes Season 2!

Congrats on the truck and trailer! I feel the "what's best" question has a different answer for everyone and you really can't answer it without living it. We're going from a TT and looking for a motorhome. Even though we're making opposite decisions, they may both be right for each of us (hope so). As we get older, now about 50, we are willing to trade the advantages of being small for the conveniences of being larger. At least we think we are. But there's no way to know without putting our money where our thoughts are. :) Best of luck to you guys and welcome to the most amazing club in the world, "The Cool Parent Club"!

Congrad's. I think RV'ers should completely empty their RV once a year. Most would discover the same thing you did. We have that? Why do we have that? May you have many enjoyable adventures and great memories in your new rig. Cheers

Interesting...we started nearly 8 years ago with a fifth wheel and a new truck three years later traded for a 2007 Sea Breeze motor home. We miss the storage but we had a really heavy 16k trailer went through tires like crazy slides were rapidly wearing out could not hold up to full time use. We found the V-10 to be super reliable and has never let us down . One other downside was the diesel truck sucked fuel, when we arrived at a location we used the truck to see the sights, it got expensive. I hope your trailer is well built but will be following your adventures ....safe travels.

Ray J yes! We can't wait to show you all the trailer! So far the truck has actually gotten better gas mileage (while not towing) than the jeep did. The truck also does better than the motorhome while towing. The motorhome got 5-6 MPG and the truck gets 7-8 every gallon counts! Lol

My only advice would be don't be near your max towing stay well under your limit much less stress on parts and vehicles:) Nice looking trailers just looked at them:)

Oh wow I like the travel trailer decision and all of your points are very valid. I'm a Ford truck nut, so can you please tell me what year the truck is and what motor it has gas /diesel?
