AirStream Azza Dream thank you! I don't know! That's a good idea. We were going to start a new season come January, so it will go by the year. But we're already at like 30 some episodes, so it might be time.

Typical dealer shenanigans...I think we'll stick with our "old" Windsong for a bit longer. Best wishes!

A few things I have learned over the years. Try and make the deal close to month end. They need to make quota. Unless its in writing, talk is worthless. Before you sign and transfer money do a complete PDI and get in writing everything they are going to fix. Once they have your money it switches from a dealer issue to a warranty issue. More red tape to get things fixed. Enjoy your new set up. I have a truck camper. Yes its small, but more times then not that is an advantage. I hope you find smaller is better too. Safe travels.

I'm so glad I worked out. I am totally intolerant of car/RV salesmen. I would have walked out immediately with his attitude.

Jean Decker we really wanted to back out of the deal and walk away, but we had already traded our Jeep and gotten the truck, so we we're kind of stuck. And these trailers are a bit tricky to find.

Sounds like a typical bait and switch. You guys just changed out those sinks just a while ago but you’ll like some thing smaller too. You will have aribags in the truck now which will be safer.

Going to miss Georgie. We have a 2011 Georgetown. Working on making updates now. Love our 31 ft Class A. Bought it through a dealership, and I disliked the salesman there too. He used to work for a telecom company about 6 months earlier. We got a real good deal, but I have to say, they were not helpful in any way. I saw aggressive arrogant behavior from our salesman and his leadership too. Even before we met them to see the motorhome, they were calling me to get me to sign a sale contract.

Linda Cluney yeah, unfortunately dealers aren't always great. We will miss Georgie too! They are great motorhomes.

It would be good to hear the pros and cons of the RV versus the Trailer life as you get more experience with the trailer. I understand the fear of costly repairs to an RV, especially if it has over 100K miles on the rig. But I'd like to hear about the general feeling, such as gas mileage, available living space, storage (indoor and outdoor basement). Also, the convenience of having food, bathroom, drink and sleep available to the passenger while driving in the RV, versus having to find a place to stop with the trailer to do the same. And the time it takes to pack up things and get on the road again. You certainly have the convenience of not flat towing anymore, which is nice, but how does the handling compare in wind between the two setups? I'm at this crossroad myself..... buy another RV, or consider a trailer?
