@@brzser8387 thanks for replying, hows the OFT holding up? i plan to get it but not sure if I can justify paying 500 for it...do u still think its worth it for stage 1?
@brzser83876 жыл бұрын
@@detective4015 its holding up pretty well. I would go as far to say that i wouldn't even drive my car stock anymore haha. Granted i am on e85 with full bolt on,s i would say its also worth it for stage one. Reason being is you can always build up to after market headers and e85. Then after getting bored with it, or want to go back to stock you can resell the unit for $400. Its definitely worth it in my view in that aspect.

@@brzser8387 I have a 2018 BRZ , I replaced the exhaust with an Invidia catless front pipe and axle back Q300, going to get my used OFT v2 (unmarried) soon that I bought for $350 shipped from a guy in Facebook. in your opinion did I get a good deal and will I see any noticeable difference with the basic tune? Thanks for sharing your experience with the OFT tablet.
@brzser83874 жыл бұрын
@@saulespino2510 That's a pretty good deal!. Yes you will see a small noticable difference. The big difference usually comes when you change the header, since you get rid of the torque dip. Then to one up that going e85 is a major difference. Glad this video helped!

I recently bought a gt86 and was considering purchasing oft but I havnt seen much data relating to hp gains. If you can do a vedio on that it would be great

Dean Tha kid , ah for me that would be challenging since i dont have access to a dyno, but by experience from stock, 91 octane, and e85. Stock and 91 octane tune, i felt slight responsiveness due to having castless headers. Going on e85 is where you would feel the most difference since youre gaining 20-25 wph. For me atleast i felt that, theres is slightly more pull at the 4.5k range all the way to redline.

Ok cool, does that nasty torque dip still exist between 2500 to 4000 rpm?
@brzser83876 жыл бұрын
Dean Tha kid , oh yes it is haha, granted you are running catless headers and e85, it is comepletely gone, thus giving it a more responsive feeling like i mentioned before. It really is a worth it device!

Functionally is it the same? Or is it just aesthetics?
@brzser83876 жыл бұрын
From my reasearch, its more of a bigger screen and an increase in ram size. So if youre buying new, you will get those benefits because its the same price. But if youre looking for a used one, then it does the same thing. A better idea is when flashing a rom, the older version takes 5 minutes, while the new one takes 3 or 4.
