Had a quick talk on the PoE Vault Discord with a guy called Andreas who corrected me on the mathematics of punishment (below 50% HP targets being significantly higher). I try to avoid making my PoBs confusing for players but he is correct, you can't just take the DPS above 50% and the DPS below 50% and divide by 2 as this will be calculated by Arithmetic mean and not very accurate since the weight of the DPS above 50% will be higher. Formula for Arithmetic mean: (X+Y)/2 = Z. Harmonic mean calculation would look like this: 2(1/X + 1/Y) = Z. Where x is the DPS above 50%, y being below 50% enemy HP & Z being the end result. The differences in calculation is not going to be very big but there is one, so if you're hellbent on getting exact/as close to as accurate as we can be numbers out of this, that's how you'll do it.

I was finding the leveling of this a little bit tedious until i realised the pairing with the big flame boii and convocation, as soon as i put convocation on my move i have been cruising through the acts. maybe i'm just dumb, but it took me way too long to figure out just how good the guardian's first notable is when paired with convocation and wanted to let anyone else know in case it never occurred to them either

Nice. I'm really hoping i can tweak this build to get soulwrest elemental phantasms to work. Currently the only popular soulwrest builds are either pure phys or poison. I'm currently trying out poison and it does not feel good. It feels pretty underwhelming before getting the grasping mail with the chayula mod or stacking enough ghastly jewels to reach 100% poison chance. Even though i hit 90 with that character I'm really tempted to restart to play elemental phantasms instead, using this guide as a template

- the life sclaing wouldn't be the core move to do here since your SRS are the damage source and the extra life will need some investement to make it worth it, even with tattoos (but you can try it out, the tattoos aren't expensive and you can scour if it feels off). - flat phys damage is better cause the main damage of the minions are physical which will be converted to fire at 100%, the wrath and anger aura are kinda just nice to have on this toon, but the hatred aura gives the best benefits for the damage itself. - no the 6L helmet is not better dps wise, but it opens new possibilities for your build to boost yourself further. if you go for DPS of SRS the dps would only be better if you get either a 7 or 8L helmet (critical strike chance for socketed spells, socketed gems deal 30% more elemental damage from horror Essence). In any other case you can easily outnumber the dps in a 6L body armor

I've never played a minion build before but the other day a level 21 Vaal Summon skeletons dropped for me so on a whim I decided to give it a try. I was shocked at how awesome it was, As it gave me a Literal army of minions to help me out in sticky situations. I decided to commit to a 4 link and it is now a permanent part of my build (Bane occultist). so now I'm thinking I would like to create a proper build around summon skeletons, Does such a thing exist? Ps my four link comprises of minion life minion speed and added chaos damage Is this optimal or is there a better choice?

Minion builds are pretty fun, they just are never top tier meta usually. They are still very viable and are a bit underrated by the general PoE player base though.

on the same build site ghazzy mentions in his video description he has a skeleton mage guardian guide in case you like the skeletons . If you prefer more permanent minions golemancer or Zoomancer might be interesting for you. I think ghazzy has a guide for all of them.

they are included through the config part of the PoB but keep an eye on Ghazzies builds, cause he loves to not cap his builds or get any chaos resistance as much as not caring for stats. SO prepare yourself to be required to fit those things on all the items which he has on his build already... Otherwise yau might get hard problems.

Can you please tell me the significance of Radian Faith, to me it seems like it is giving you almost nothing, just about 100 Energy Shield and 1% phsyical damage reduction, i suppose you need the 100 Energ Shield but man does it seem like a weak talent. This had to be the absolute easiest build I paid absolutely zero attention to gear outside of a single 4 link for srs and 3 link for carrion golem. Made it thru white maps with a meme onslaught empty socket helmet and 50% empty move speed unique boots to get the affliction +50% bonus ele resist and +30% move speed bonus. Ridiculous. Time to build my flasks and start gearing I guess. Thx Ghazzy

It is you own to figure that out, ghazzyTV seems to think that this is a good build guide, while his PoB has not capped ele and chaos res and doesn't care for the right stats on items to sufficiently use the gems he recomments. SO you need to delete kinda most of his rare items in PoB and exchange them so that you can cap ele res from scratch, cap chaos res and balance your stats.... that's like more as 100 dex you will require on your items. Which means you need additional dex on your abyss jewels and at least around 60 dex on the gloves to make crafting the gear not ret*rdedly expensive

I mostly use Neversinks filter available at: www.filterblade.xyz All builds in PoE can use the base filters Neversink & his team provides. Only build that I know of that has a build specific loot filter is by Pohx for his many Righteous Fire builds, they are amazing specially for new(er) players but not something the rest of us build guide creators devotes time to as it's an insane amount of work which would make sense when you focus on 1 build-type compared to myself that houses a large variety of builds!

no reg, ele reflect, reduced block chance would be the worst modifiers I think besides of double or triple phys as extra stuff or curses, but they are all "doable". More importantly keep an eye on the config of his PoB and delete it. Otherwise you might end up in a nightmare

i think you are underestimating a little bit the price of the medium budget version that helm alone would cost 15 divines edit: there is only one helmet like that listed on the market and its 45 divines

Considering the fact that I normally craft and sell hundreds of those helmets every league I can assure you that I am not underestimating the price of the helmet and can verify that they are considerably cheaper this league than they've ever been much sooner than ever. You can use a combination of 3 modifiers out of the list; Minion dmg Hypothermia 30% horror essence Socketed spell crit +lvl of minion skills (1-2) To start with you can go with 2 modifiers and they cost about 3d if you go with a similar helmet to what I'm literally wearing in the gameplay it right now costs 6-8d.

the mistake u are doing is, to filter EXACTLY for the helm he mentioned. what u have to do is, to let the last mod open, then search for helmets, and then take the cheapest with a fitting modifier, and here u go with a 3divine perfekt 6-link helmet! also dont forget how medium budget is defined for different people. someone defines medium budget the budget a casual players earns in 2 weeks of playing other (like me an ghazzy ) players will define it what u earn in the first week if u KNOW how to make currency. so for us medium budget if everything till 50divines and high budget is multiple mirrors

if there is a mod open, then its not the same item pointed on the medium budget... if i remove 1 or 2 mods from a mirror tier item, then its not a mirror tier item anymore, same concept aplies here. and another falacy is that the budget is relative... just because someone can farm gazilion divines on the first week, can't suggest an squire as a medium budget item. @@FurchtlosUndTreu87

Been playing srs guardian early game and switched to skeletons since keeping srs up felt atrocious. I feel dps numbers are somewhat inflated by 20x srs since you usually dont have that many and if you do you kinda ignore enemy skills and focus on keeping them up.

He is using eldritch battery which converts his ES on Mana, so this way will not work with CI. IF you can manage to get you mana usage fixed, it could be a possibility, but then you'd lack defences on all sides most likely

It my opinion elemental is better early game and poison necro better late game. The comparison is rather large. It is simply more conventient to run poison late game.

Played my own version of this and I gotta say it was the easiest leaguestart ever - big dude just chonked act bosses on a 0 link. BUT! - I just cannot play a build that has to press a certain button every x seconds or you loose 30% of your EHP. I hate this kind of upkeep skills in all rpgs/mmos.

I still think that going fleshcrafter is massive bait. It neuters your sentinel of radiance guardian heavily and it stops you from properly using ele pen, whilst taking up for chest slot.

nah your losing a shitload of damage on srs, there is no way to scale pen for all 3 elements, going ele pen gem means you drop a more multiplier from another gem and you have to run ele weakness which is another thing that replaces more damage from another curse i guess you could scale scorch but doing that on a minion build is pretty much impossible.

​@@jonasandersen7280 flesh crafter lets you use another gem in place of ele pen that gives a more multiplier instead of pen, its basically a 7th link. and you can use another curse in place of ele weakness, like ass mark, throwing on "several curses" is a non option for minion builds since they are notoriously socket starved, if your thinking of using ele weak conductivity, flamability and frostbite on vixens then no.. vixens and whispers of doom will cap you out at 3 max curses, youll have to get the other curse from AG which means running windscream and dropping legacy of fury while also making that curse lvl1.
