New Wheels (Again) For My S65 AMG

Can't have nice wheels in Pittsburgh, my new set cracked already so we had to get a THIRD set for the S65 AMG. It turned out to look even better tho!

Wheels look sweet! Don’t put spacers on the rear see if you go up 1-2 tyre width sizes with reduced profile so the rolling radius stays the same. You fill the arch with wider rubber and better grip as well as a little more rim protection

Exactly! Why would you not put the widest tire possible on a car with that much power? Not even that nothing looks better than a wide back tire not some pizza cutter. Once you throw spacers on have fun with all the crap being flung up the side of the car!

The larger the wheels the more susceptible to damage. Also forged wheels are the best protection against potholes.

Wheels look much better !! I really think you should go with a 21” 2 piece forged wheel you won’t notice the size difference but you will gain some cushion

Wheels look good Mike ! On my AMG I run 19s but with a bit higher profile tires for ride quality and they won't Crack so easily.

Instead of getting spacers for the rear wheels you should go with a wider tire and not have so much stretch. It will look better and will protect the rim.

I did not expect that! Those wheels look absolutely amazing! FOR REAL. You have great taste in wheels bro, and you seem to always know whats going to look good. I thought those other wheels were great looking.... but these wheels look amazing. Changes the whole look of the car. It just looks meaner now, more aggressive, more fitting with that exhaust. What do you expect the tire is part of the suspension system and with little to no sidewall the tire can only deflect so much energy therefore it tends to damage the rim and those black wheels you damn well know they've been either hit a pothole or over a speed bump at a high rate of speed. This is why I stay away from rubber bands for tires. Might look all sweet but they provide very little protection to the rim.
