Most garages remove the body of the car from the chasis, hence the 3k cost. if you want to do it without remval of chasis. You need to heat up the bolts before removal which is tricky to not damage any other parts with the heat. Removing the radiator and intercooler will give you a little more space but not much. If the bolts shear off its ok as you are renewing the turbo

Get a bit of heat on it rob or let it soak with some wd40 for hours maybe a day or so
