Happy New Year everyone. I hope you had a great last day of 2024, and I hope your all ready for 2025. I decided to make a short video about how everyone visited Red Square on New Years Eve in Russia.
@snookerb677718 күн бұрын
Sorry but you are incorrect. It’s the RED HOUSE/CROWN/KING RULE BLOODLINE LOWER EGYPT VS WHITE HOUSE/CROWN/2ND 3RD SONS TO THE KING RULE UPPER EGYPT. That is why it is RED square. The WHITE HOUSE is called the WHITE HOUSE BECAUSE THE LOSER 2ND 3RD ETC SONS TO THE KING. WHO INHERIT ED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND HAD ZERO RULING POWER. THAT IS WHAT THE CRUSADES WERE ALL ABOUT. THEY OVERTHREW THE KING & the 1st Son to the king.
@mihailraskin291218 күн бұрын

Russia is not that country, (too cold in winter) but I have it on my list of places to visit. One of the things I look at is healthcare and costs. This might be a problem for a foreigner or an expat like myself. I'd have to buy Private health insurance, which would not be cheap for a person around retirement age. And my Visa would probably require it.

Russia is very big, from Kaliningrad in the west to Chukotka in the east, from Murmansk in the north to Sochi in the south, you can choose any point, just for a comfortable life you need to choose not the most touristy places, where there will not be many vacationers and not inflated prices for everything. For example, in our Stavropol region today it was +15ºС. There is an excellent documentary film, which was shot, oddly enough, by the Germans, called Flights over Russia (Russland von oben), the filming was done either from a copter or a helicopter, be sure to watch it, I recommend it, perhaps it will change your understanding of the diversity and geography of Russia.

Presents are given at Christmas. Since religion was banned in USSR, Christmas was not celebrated, this is the reason that Presents were given at New Years concert. Now that religion has been revived, many people now give their gifts on Christmas January 7 th. By the old calendar, for today’s calendar was advanced by 13 days, that is the reason that all religious holidays are 13 days behind of the of the new calendar. Example January 7 th is December 25 th in the old calendar. The Orthodox churc never accepted the new calendar.. It was after the Revolution thatnRussia accepted the new calendar.

Religion was never banned in the USSR, it was just not encouraged, and believers had restrictions on career growth. In the first years of the USSR, churches were destroyed, but not all of them, most of them became historical monuments. Now, when morals are declining in the West and churches are closing, in Russia, on the contrary, churches are being built.

"According to 1976 data, there were about 20,000 Orthodox churches, synagogues, Lutheran churches, mosques, Buddhist datsans, and Baptist congregations in the USSR." - but, uh... your TV knows better, of course. Even the Russians themselves.
