I have been summoned! Blades as a hobby are easy to get into, you don’t have to spend thousands either. Most cost comes down to materials and craftsmanship. If you don’t mind something mass produced you can role pretty cheap to get a feel for different materials. What do you typically do with your blade?

Basically as an overpriced utility knife. Scraping.. cutting boxes, threads and fabrics. Kinda wishing I went with a serrated blade.

Happy to hear you’re considering the Tauruscamp, can’t recommend it enough so I’ll let others do it if needed :) Absolutely gorgeous wallet, gifted one to my brother, my brother in law and my dad recently. Editing the comment for last recommendation : for all loose items like chapstick, one or two medicine, bandaid, nail clipper I use the alpaka zip pocket. Can’t say I fits confortably in a pocket but definitely in any sling. Please feel free to let me know if you want me to detail anything here or on Bluesky
