@@craig5592 Yes he did, but you gotta remember, Drew has very little chemistry with Nabers or the other WRs in NY. The fact that it took Drew's 3rd start to shine is no surprise to me. It takes time to develop chemistry. It Drew was named the starter from the start, Giants would have won at least 7 games this year. Another thing to remember, the O line was good at the start of the season before the injuries and Jones still couldn't win. Drew would have. Also, sometimes a QB, if he knows his WR has the advantage, will throw it up for grabs (aka...under throw it) figuring he has a better chance at a jump ball than to hit his WR in stride, especially when not much chemistry. I can't even count the number of times a WR who was wide open for a TD or massive play was overthrown by just a few inches this year. Bombs are hard. Getting those 1 on 1 deep routes is hard to come by. You gotta make them count. Sometimes a jump ball is the safer bet.

Only question will be, does Lock want to come back. The organization dissed him twice. Then there is the crappy play calling Baboll gave him the first 2 games he started. If Drew plays well the last game, you can bet he will have a lot of suiters for him at least as a backup. Miami really needs an upgrade at backup and chances are good Drew will get some playing time there. Carolina and Indy could use a QB competition for their 3 yr guys as they have been very inconsistent. Carolina may bring Dalton back, but he is getting old. I think Drew would be a better fit there. Then you have the Jets. What are they going to do? You can bet they are looking at Drew's tape extra careful now. Drew may resign with Giants if they promise him to be the starter at first no matter who they draft or at least a QB competition, but after the weird stuff that happened this season and last offseason, he would have to be desperate to take their word for it. All of this could be mute if Drew throws 2 INTs next game. I would say Drew's future really depends on what he does after this showing. Can he prove it wasn't a 1 hit wonder? Actually to those who follow him know it isn't. He's done it before.

The thing about Drew is this: He has the arm talent that you can't teach. It's not only strong, but accurate. The bad decision making can be fixed with teaching. Look at Josh Allen as an example. Drew's problem is after his terrible sophomore season, nobody wanted to give him another chance. He did good his rookie season under a different offense and OC and he did good in Seattle as well, so that tells me it was the OC that was the problem in Denver.

@@thelakeman5207 Lock doesn't want to be replaced with a draft pick next year. He can make it really hard on the Giants to draft a QB by winning the last game. I just hope he doesn't try too hard in his last game. When he forces it is when he makes mistakes. Drew has the talent to be a really good starting QB in the league.

I want a shiny new franchise qb obviously But I cant help but feel there might actually be something there with lock.... Look at Geno, same deal talented guy who blew his early chances and became a backup so long people forgot he possessed the tools to actually be great. We let geno go and he revives his career in Seattle. My onion of drew lock was tainted by how long he's been a bench warmer, but actually watching him play when he got some reps and took some shots? He has all the tools to be a solid starting QB.

@@robertkelly6282 Yeah, the Giants have a ton of problems. The starting O line is decent, but we have seen that the backups are terrible. Line needs depth. Nabers is good, but the other WRs would be backups for practice squad on good teams. Giants need to draft some WRs and sign some FA there. Also need better CBs too. LBers are ok but could use an upgrade. Also need an upgrade at backup RB too. Giants are not a QB away from being a playoff team.

Nabers is a glorified possession receiver taken with a single digit pick.. he wouldn't have scored if the defenders would have attempted a real tackle. Lock is aas!!
