Killing raccoons with dogs is fkin gross man, super unnecessary!
@JosephCartertheMinkMan
@JosephCartertheMinkMan Жыл бұрын
Not only are they an overpopulated and highly destructive pest across the country, causing untold amounts of damage to both wildlife and humans alike, but to add insult to injury, they are actually an invasive species in our state. The first individual raccoon being documented in 1952. Raccoon pest control is ABSOLULTLY necessary nationwide, even where they are native (due to their overpopulated status). But here where they are a non-native pest, the need is all the more necessary for the health of the ecosystem, and for human interests alike. As far as doing it with dogs is concerned, wolves would be their # one natural predator if they were still around, so why would you be against literally the most natural pest control method possible? Using a canine (the raccoons worst enemy in nature) to solve a problem that is a problem due to their not being enough wild canines to keep their numbers at a healthy balance. It is by far the most humane way of controlling their numbers, in addition to being the most natural. No dangerous poisons, no lingering in a trap for hours, and shooting is not an option due to them being in city limits. What better way to solve natures problems than with a natural solution!

I wish I could see your reaction to the invasive CATS in Australia they look like cute little house cats but are just like any other unnatural pest and danger to local species Also dogs don’t think it’s gross they’re probably having the time of their life out there hunting like their ancestors Better than being stuck in a house all day barking at the mailman and eating dry pebbles of dog food

Absolutely true !!! Be extremely careful when dealing with ANY media people. All they want to do is make a name for themselves.....and they'll run right over anyone to get ahead of their contemporaries. The cardinal rule of the media is: "If it bleeds, it leads." and they'll say/do anything to get that headline or lead segment on the 6 o'clock news.

Hope the NYTs explodes your subscriptions. It will, however, be interesting to see the 'but' part of their article. They, for good reason, always write with two hands ... on the one hand, on the other hand. A good chunk of their subscribers like the idea of that animals have rights, and should be regarded as human. That's the 'other hand.' I'll be surprised if the NYT's coverage is fawning, I hope it'll help a lot of people discover your excellent content.
