i really want to see a 10 dan kodokan judoka with experience in kosen fight against a red belt 10 dan in bjj

The 2-5th dan are the fighters in any system. A 10 dan is by age likely in their 90's, and if they dedicated their life to judo, likely injury has taken a toll on their physical capability at that age. It is just a matter of making sure the younger talented representatives do actually represent. We had that with the famous matches Kato and his teacher Kimuro vs founder of BJJ Helio Gracie, and also Yoshida (ex Olympic champion) vs Gracie. Both fights resulted in a win to the Gracies if you believe Gracies reporting. History can be changed by the pen being mightier than the sword.

Pro Judo what are you saying kimura bresk gracie arm , kato drow the 1st time and then lost in other match(there is a soft tatami) yoshida choke oute royce but there wree gracie rules and the match go no contest(because your opponet should to submit to declare a win), also the second time royce wkn yoshida but rpyce fought without a gi ans the same time yoshida weared his gi probbly that happen because royce lost from a juji gatame (colar choke)in the first match

I agree with your summary, but Gracie family tell a very different story. No matter if you win, false reporting can win over the masses to your cause. Judo is no match for the marketing machine of BJJ, we are very amateur. There is big $$$ at stake, and Judo don't even understand the issues let alone the marketing and politics.

Pro Judo for me gracie are businessmen first and then "fighters" the gjj is just kano jiujitsu self defence maybe with some catch moves.Also the say kimura was heavier than helio thats not true. Futhermore maeda was 165cm and fought agiant catch wrestler and train without gi but gracie says that helio modified the techniques for smaller people,i bleieve that maeda tough judo(kano jiu jitsu back then) witha strong influence from catch. Helio has 4 or 6 dan in kodokan judo and trained with a lot japanese in brazil. Also bjj no g is just paradox is like saying handball football with hands they stole all the techniques of luta livre they change the name ( bjj no gi) and make rules that catch wrestling moves can t be use and now they claim that bjn is the bestfor self defence gi and no gi grappling. they complete robbed 2 sports and just change the name,people dont hate gracie because they invicible they hate them because are liars and arrogants

I certainly don't hate them, I love their spirit of challenge. They are pioneers... I just think they are by comparison overtly commercial, and understand marketing. IJF Judo doesn't seem to have a clue about its competition in the marketplace for what is essentially a very similar system. Judo is naive of the issues because of its strong sport orientation. The thing that upsets me is departures by what I term "clueless mismanagement, from martial credibility with rules of judo." The more this happens the more I feel personally that IJF judo is managed by fools. They certainly do not even comprehend the bigger picture. Talking to Japanese judo men and they almost all understand what is at stake, and are dumbfounded (like me) with the managerial mismanagement of recent years. It may very well split IJF judo, which also hurts to think about.
