It was the start of a fantastic time, the buzz being Newcastle was unreal, and as my 2nd Club, my 1st being Carlisle, we were under new management at the time and doing well in Division 3, Champions, got to Wembley that year and gates of 10k. Newcastle need new ownership, management, a complete change now.

The atmosphere in the stadium was different gravy back then some games you could hear the noise from byker and turned bbc on to watch the diddy printer put the score up. Magical times 🤣🤣
