I don't watch Slot's pressers I loved Klopp's though as he was always entertaining. As for Newcastle, I saw them against West Ham and they were poor. We had a good record there under Klopp so hopefully that continues. Am already a bit in derby mode with living here that build up starts early! Hopefully a win tomorrow and no injuries as am worried Everton will get stuck in as usual and there might be one or two knocks. At least he could rest a few against Girona.

Regards who we've played and when ( fortunate timing claim ). I think it's obvious LIV is improving too. We are understanding what Slot wants. The spacing between players , both in attack and defense is getting better and better game by game. We are much slicker with quicker decisions + more 1X passing.

Liverpool have another gear to hit with a proper number 10. If Elliot hits full form or we play Mac in that position our attack will be even more devastating. Jones and Szob are solid in their own ways but none of them provide that x factor.

@@ronaldinhogoat2859 Szobo is essential, he is the "motor" of the team, the running power in every game. We need that. In the less intense games, Harvey can replace him, but I think Slot will use Harvey as RW as he mentioned in the PC today. To rest Mo sometimes.

Szobo is literally the work horse in our midfield he sacrifices a lot of attacking wise because he is the one who covers a lot of ground in both boxes and he allows the other two to play their game

The 10 role involves a lot more running than a traditional 10 role rn. Slob's engine is big enough for that. Allows Mac's position the time to play, and good cover for Gravenberch. Grav's role isn't a standard 6 either. Both positions need to be looked at differently atm imo. Mac coukd play there but seems Slob/Curtis fit it better for Slot for now anyway

Video suggestion: Man City are playing possum? Why would they be so bad with so much talent? Playing backwards, losing 5 in a row?world’s best striker can’t score? I think we’re good for this season tbf. The squad depth is strong and we’re doing well with 3/4 currently out. I do hope we get the contract issues sorted. Esp Salah and Virgil. It would be a massive boost snd will give Slot more time and less pressure going into next season which then allows him to strengthen in the summer and bring new players in gradually.
