Yes yes yes to #3. With my first kid I ended maternity leave and was doing into a brand new job so the comfort level wasn't there and while I discussed it the first day and they showed me around the accommodations I felt hindered work performance, stressed me out, and likely resulted in the stopping at 6 months. With my 2nd, there were some open office type spaces available and I asked if I could have one because I knew it'd be easier to pump in my own space where it didn't matter if I had a work call or things I needed to do amd I could make it my own amd just close and lock the door. I made it to 11 months exclusively pumping before my supply tanked and SURPRISE found out baby #3 was on the way 😂 all that to say is learn what you're most comfortable with and advocate for that. I work with all guys but they're all dads and have been amazing in helping with accommodations where they can. I have so much less stress thinking about it this round

Hi. If I don't pump enough milk for my baby for the next day, is it okay to mix it with older milk from the freezer?

Since baby normally feeds from one side at a time, would I pump from one side at a time also or pump from both sides? Wouldn’t pumping from both sides change my supply?

I’m back at work and I did not make a freezer stash now I’m pumping on my way to work, during lunch time and on my way home. But I feel like I need to pump more often during my work. Is there a certain schedule that I can follow during an 8hr shift at work?

It really depends on how efficient you are with a pump, how much your breasts can hold, and where your current milk supply is at. Some people can get away with few pumps than others! But it’s a bit of a process to figure it out. Are you pumping enough to feed your little one for the next day?

My first day back at work yesterday and I wanted to go back home. I forgot not only my pump at home but also my headphones so I can ignore my coworkers while I worked. I was MAD. 😅
