Newport Cliff Walk - Rhode Island (Mansions and Stunning Coastal Views)

The Cliff Walk in Newport, RI is a free public access trail featuring numerous gilded age mansions, such as the Chanler hotel, the Breakers, Ochre Court, and the Waves. It is one of the top attractions in Newport, Rhode Island, with millions of visitors a year and is open year-round. In addition to the stunning coastal views and the mansions, there are cool spots as well such as the Forty Steps, where you can descend pretty close to the water. The beginning of this 3.5 mile one way trail is at Easton's Beach off of Memorial Boulevard and ends at Bailey's Beach. There are maps many times along the way as well as several entry/exit points. Be sure to pay attention to the detour signs since the trail has collapsed before (as recently as a few months ago).

When I visit NY I must take a trip to Rhode Island as well! I’ve always wanted to visit Newport. You did a wonderful job show casing it! It’s beautiful. It reminds me of the Hamptons.
