People must think going home to heaven and being in heaven is a bad thing. Going to heaven should be celebrated if that's where your going. considering what you're leaving behind here, and the joy that awaits you there if your going there. The alternative of heaven is what people should be sad about when loved ones pass away. There's no joy or beauty at all in that place.

My 40-year old uncle passed away from stomach cancer exactly one week after getting diagnosed! It was by far one of the most excruciatingly painful experience to watch, however, about two hours prior to his passing, his face lit up and he held his arms out and said “momma” with the biggest grin and tears streaming down his face. His mom passed when he was in his early twenties, and He was in a coma at this point so we knew exactly where he was headed after his passing! … RIP to a beloved legend and patriot, Toby Keith! If you are reading this and you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior it is so simple. Jesus I believe that you died on the cross and rose again. Jesus come make your home inside my heart. Jesus will make his home in you. He said I will never leave you or forsake you. Your life will be forever changed. I am proof of that. @@beckyc3127 I was saying biblically the Bible says nobody’s in heaven until Jesus comes back and judged us for sins so I believe people are dead unconscious until Jesus raises them from the dead I know a lot of people believe that people are in heaven and hell right now I just don’t believe the Bible says that.
@beckyc312711 ай бұрын
@@ryangraham7012 In the Bible, the Apostle Paul said, “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” When the thief was dying on the cross and asked Jesus to remember him, Jesus said he would be with him in paradise (heaven) that day. You said Jesus I’ll come back and judge us for our sins. That happens for unbelievers, who will then be condemned to a Christless eternity.. For believers, Jesus took the judgment for our sins, and so we will not be judged a second time. That payment has already been made. The Bible refers to a bema seat which is a judgment seat, but it is for believers, and God will not judge our sins at the bema seat. It will be where our works are weighed, and we will receive crowns for various things we did for Christ. It is true that our physical bodies won’t go to heaven until the rapture, but our spirits, that which makes us who we really are, immediately go to heaven or hell upon death. We also have the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The Lazarus in that story is not Mary and Martha’s brother. We see from that story that when Lazarus died, he immediately went to Abraham’s bosom, which is a symbol of heaven. The rich man immediately went to a place of judgment. They were both very aware of where they were. I don’t believe it was a parable. I believe it was a real life happening.

I met Toby in 2003, backstage in Pensacola, Florida. In a room full of fans, he went right past all of them and came up to me. At the time, I was in the Air Force, with my cowboy hat and beautiful wife, and he came and thanked me for my service. It was a very humbling experience that I will never forget. I miss you, Toby. I'm 67 and have been battling cancer for a year now. Had surgery last June, so far, i hope, the worst might be over for now, for myself. My husband will be 66 in a week, was diagnosed last week with bone cancer. Today starts the beginning of his fight against it. We are lucky to live in a city that has 2 great hospitals with teams of doctors working on your case. They told him if he had been diagnosed 5 years ago there would not be a cure. I've seen Toby in concert 5 times, he was such a great songwriter with a unique sense of humor. On his more serious songs he poured his heart out in his music. I have always been more of a rocker but i just loved Toby, and Keith Urban as well. It's a very sad time losing Toby, may he RIP and feel no more pain. My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans. We mourn together the life of a man we all appreciated so much, i hope he knew how much he was loved.

Toby was spot on when he said "never give up". My journey with cancer started almost 11 years ago. They took out 80% of my stomach, 50% of my pancreas, and my spleen. It has not been fun, but I'm still here. It came back once, and they put me on chemo for life (pill form). God bless you, Toby Keith. May our Heavenly Father grant you His peace. I know He has from hearing this interview. I love how you leaned into God and found peace. It is so true. Since the day I was diagnosed in 2013, I have been at peace. Every day is a gift. A precious gift that should not be taken for granted. May God grant that peace to all.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Losing our mom’s is a very painful loss & you feel like a part of you died with her. We share their DNA afterall. Know that I will be praying for you! I share your grieving. My mom passed away in 2007 & I was devastated by her death. The hardest loss for me, however, was my husband 12 years ago. He got very sick so I rushed him to the ER & we found out that he had stage IV lung cancer & it had metastasized to the brain. He had 7 brain tumors. He died just 5 weeks after diagnosis & it was the worst 5 weeks ever. He suffered terribly during that time & watching him slip away so quickly was just heart wrenching. But I praise God that, in His great mercy, Ross didn’t suffer for longer than that. Even with the horrific suffering though, my husband called all of his friends & family to thank them for being in his life, asked forgiveness of those he needed to reconcile with, and said his goodbyes. It was the most beautiful thing to behold! His faith in God was unshakable & I have no doubt as to where he is at! He’s free of all suffering, free of all the cares & struggles of this life & he’s thoroughly enjoying being in the presence of our Lord & Savior. More than 400 people came to his funeral & I was just blown away by the many stories shared with me about how Ross had touched their lives. He was such a good man & I miss him terribly.
