I was only a little child when he was President, so I have no opinion on that, but he was a true humanitarian after he left office. A person everyone should respect.

President Carter was a Humanitarian and a true Christian. I remember President Carter's time in office. I do not have any harsh memories of him. He was a president that was a peacekeeper. At the time Wahington Dc wanted a war horse. President Carter was not what Washington Dc wanted at the time.

He was such a good, faithful Christian man, I can’t help but think meeting him would have been a very enlightening experience he was so humble and probably too honest he accomplished so much in his time on earth I remember him as the President, I was born in 1969 so I do remember him as President he was the first President that I remember as a child and I also remember Regan going into my teens and high school US history and Civics class yep I am old 😮

I was in the US Army under Jimmy shut down the government Carter. He was a good man, but a horrible President. How many days was the Government shut down under Jimmy Carter. 1977: Under President Jimmy Carter. Lasted 12 days. 1977: Under Carter. Lasted eight days. 1977: Under Carter. Lasted eight days. 1978: Under Carter. Lasted 17 days. 1979: Under Carter. Lasted 11 days. GOD bless and GOD rest his Soul.

I'd add that Carter popped the OPEC oil price bubble - making the "Reagan recovery" possible. He fought the good fight, and stood up for our best American values. Thank you, sir.
