Togashi also did it during the Chimera ant Arc in the panel explaining the effects of the Poor Man's Rose has on the world. Ben doesn't have to be a Nen user in the traditional sense. in the manga it's explained that many exceptional people (leader, artists etc) are able to use a little bit of Nen subconsciously, that's how they discern valuable art pieces at the street shops and Gon actually notices the knife.

The whole deal is that Ging's ability is one of the most well-kept secrets, so just advertising it like that to people who can just walk into Greed Island, especially since he hasn't gone into great effort to hide his involvement with the game, is kinda counterintuitive. Though it could be a "hide a tree in a forest" type of situation

Ging and Kaito have their names based on a gemstone, zincite (Jinkaito in romanji), and that stone's properties (in lithotherapy) describe pretty accurately Kaito's Hatsu (especially his rebirth ability). So, according to the rest of the stone's description, it's very likely that Ging has a joint ability (it also fits with the fact that we've always seen him being part of a group: Greed Island, Junichin, and now Beyond's group)

While doing researches about names in HxH some years ago, I really got deep into Loupe Highland’s name origin. The usual explanation is him being a reference to rapper Lupe Fiasco but my research led me to believe that The name Loupe Highland was actually from a title of a jazz piece called “Cantaloupe Island” by a black American wearing glasses who used to perform in Japan some decades ago, his name is Herbie Hancock. I could be wrong but I feel that’s the inspiration and not Fiasco.

The entire Greed Island was covered in Divine Script technically because of the twins ability, which is why Game Masters like Razer had insanely boosted stats while the game was running. I assume it is also how the Game Masters transferred their abilities to players as spells over long distances without losses.
