At 12:00 is more ideal. I don’t know Muay Thai or KickBoxing flexibility for “sparring,” but in the initial minutes of this video guys have shin guards. If you’re going “hard” or improving on techniques aren’t you limited to hit your opponent with striking kicks to the head? Because you can also guard block incoming kicks. Because in a pro fight there are no shinguards. I find it all exciting nonetheless.

Amazing young talent. They should learn to tap their lead foot every now and then to help with checking the leg kicks, as well as shelling up, hopping back and checking leg kicks again once you've cleared some distance. Once they get that teeps will come more naturally from having a lighter front foot and it will help manage distance in general. I can see there is an emphasis on training their boxing.. a better kicker with distance management will be their downfall in the future. Or just do your thing! you guys are amazing!

Amazing sparring👏👏.. quick question though, why are they not using headgear when they are sparring this hard?
@Nuna04-05
@Nuna04-05 3 жыл бұрын
Headgear doesn’t really protect their brains from damage. What it really does is give people a false sense of safety. This false sense of safety can lead to riskier maneuvers and less defense.

@@Nuna04-05 well said. This is often bought up when people see no head gear being used. There is some for it and against it. Personally against but its upto the individual to do the research.

@@SiamBoxing Interesting. You would have thought it would offer some sort of protection, just as a larger ounce glove would as apposed to a lighter one.
@SiamBoxing
@SiamBoxing 3 жыл бұрын
@@AB-ft2lb i know where your coming from, but i think with head gear it makes the head a larger target and most injuries are when you get slightly caught which an head guard opens you upto that think like your head jolting, snapping back lets back thats what usually causes big problems from my understanding. Also wearing might give you a false sense of protection leading you to getting hit harder and more often... thats my thoughts but some will disagree its down to what you believe. 👍 head guards are good in the lead up though to lessen the chance of cuts which is very important for a fighter especially if they pay the bills this way.

@@williamcardenas177 it doesn’t mean it’s a reasonable amount, there’s hard sparring then there is this, they’re pretty much throwing at 90%, especially in that first round, it doesn’t benefit anything to go this hard, they’ll all just come away from this with huge headaches and unnecessary damage, unlikely to have learnt anything 👍🏼
