check out revolt paramotor - I think you may agree its nice with 4 motors. I agree with pedalling to extend range and charge in remote areas, with also solar panels.

Hey, fliegende Fahrräder faszinieren mich schon seit vielen Jahren. Wird beim Starten der Antrieb auf den Rädern auch verfügbar sein, um den Schirm aufzuziehen? Liebe Grüße von deinem Fan kria
@forschungsbuero8 жыл бұрын

Any thoughts on a flying EV velomobile? A number of 4 wheeled versions can’t be driven on american roads but might be repurposed to light aircraft function through paramotoring or autogyro technology.

Are you considering building smth like a deltaplane for using with your propeller or are you content with a parachute?
@forschungsbuero7 жыл бұрын
No, a Paraglider is perfect for this vehicle. A delta is too bulky, how do you store it for driving?
@lemontea20657 жыл бұрын
I would guess same as storing the propeller. I imgine you've designed it for easy and quick installation and de-installation. So why not use the "wings" for easy and quick installing/de-installing them on the trike?...so you'd store the propeller fixed to the "wings" (just an idea)
hopefully this video isn't representative of the quality of your work... otherwise I feel for your safety.

Trust me, get rid of the pedals and chains. They have no place in the future. Appreciate elegance of simplicity.

Trust you? Without specifying how he's going to generate electricity for his electric bike (and get a little exercise while he does it)?
@DanFrederiksen8 жыл бұрын
The power is obviously from battery. And if you want to exercise do exercise, don't confuse it with a means of transportation that leads to this needless complication and inelegance. Should cars and planes have bicycle pedals for exercise? of course not. Bicycles are historically leg powered because we didn't have better. Do not hold on to irrational legacy.
@AKATEATime8 жыл бұрын
I encourage you to familiarize yourself with his other videos. He's not just tooling around town. He's going off the beaten path, and then with a paraglider attached to it (like shown at the very beginning of this video), literally flying around. So light weight and generating electricity is a must. He obviously has practicality and a specific use for it in mind rather than elegance. My mention of exercise is just an incidental benefit (hence why it was in parenthesis).

In fact a bicycle was my starting point. Getting rid of the long chain on a recumbent was an improvement. The next step is to have a very simple koaxial pedal generator without any chain. You are right, that the relation between battery power (up to 5000 W) to human power (less than 200 W) is very poor. But pedaling increases the endurance a little bit and gives you some exercise. The feeling is incredible, like on a Pedelec, but much better. You have the feeling to reach that speed with your own legs.
