I love how the Doctor is as capable as can be, but just has this habit of saying things in the most sinister, ominous way possible, so you always feel like he's going to ask for something horrific of you but then he just- does what he's supposed to as best as he can. Also completely forgot Marie's glow in the dark effect was actually corrosive/nuclear radiation.

I love that Stevens’s eyes weren’t magically restored, an injury like that would definitely leave you blind. Its so cool that these guys are receiving permanent changes to their looks and bodies as the story goes on, because it feels like an actual journey where things happen to them that don’t just go away. And at least his new head helmet thing looks cool :)

I also love how their changes are opposites to each other. Only Steven's eyes were irreversibly damaged, so only his eyes are covered. Meanwhile, Marie's entire body is now covered in bandages, EXCEPT for her eyes (and the flower lol). Incredible storytelling overall.

Sometimes, people aren't that lucky to have multiple pin makers. But, for the types of pins he's making, it makes sense to have spares for emergencies. The doctor did genuinely help here, even with the set back of not getting what he finds joy in. He did still fix Steven's damage, even if he couldn't restore his eyes. A bit haunting to look at, but the doctor has a heart of gold, and barely asks for anything in return.

I love this Doctor. Despite appearing so intimidating and it feels like a generic "Mad Scientist" He's so relaxed and genuinely kind. Incredibly patient and understanding, like an actual doctor. Even when details are kept from him until he finds out, he just rolls with it and continues helping. Very nice approach to not judging a book by its cover. I love how wholesome it was. The "Shock" was more about the predicament of the Ponies than the Doctor. Which is kinda surreal cause it's no different than real life. The scariest things are just awful, random scenario's that happen to good people due to happenstance. I really liked this.

It was honestly so adorable that a giant, robotic, seemingly emotionless doctor had a cute pin collection hidden under his dark draping cloak, surprisingly their voice seemed so vibrant and happy when he shared his pin collection to the two babies. While they are both injured, they still have...quirks that can bring out sympathy for some and scare others.

Is it weird that I never felt scared or worried of what the doctor would do, I get he’s big and looks scary but I never actually felt afraid instead I felt this strange happiness which a good example is that I just caught myself smiling before he showed what he wanted from them (I didn’t say what he wants because that would be spoilering. This video was great and it had my day, thank you for your amazing animation and I like the way that you may draw stuff that looks grim or scary but you somehow always put it in a good light just like the saying “never judge a book by it’s cover” which I think it’s a amazing way you do this as it’s very unique.

I love the "Doctor" character. I love how he - despite scary looking and tbh shady at first glance - is still a good doctor with amazing skills, amazing enough that he can remove and replace Steven's "face implant" whilst carefully maintaining his face's condition fully knowing he can't fully cure him. I also love how he's trying to find ways for Marie and Steven to be at their most comfortable condition s despite their situation. All in exchange for pins. No wonder the pin collecting community has accepted him. Actually one of the best characters I know of. Great work Neytirix! . . . . . . . Now I wonder, what could've made the Doctor got into collecting pins?

probably just neytrix gifting one to him, as he is their "family doctor" after all (among having other patients) (shown in one of the previous episodes), and he just going seeking more ever since learning of them... afaik, neytrix (the character, aka "deformed child", lol) isn't intentionally hurting anyone, she's simply not aware of all the pain happening behind her back, among other things, is shown to really care about restoring demo-dog, for example...not just reinstalling a brand new one (even if pirated), which would be good enough, if torturing OCs was the main goal...

This is such an amazingly wholesome but gruesome story, I love it! I love animations that include real world logic, didn't expect the thing with the radiation though :D Great touch into character development Been followed to you for about 1 year? The doctor looks so intimidating that the reveal for their price for operating on Steven was not entirely surprising, but hilariously wholesome nonetheless. This was a nice, still dark, but nice respite from the ongoing horror of Mare and Steven's story and I love the lore building around this new character. As always, hitting it outta the ball park with these on art, animation and storytelling with just the perfect balance of wholesomeness, humor and dark elements for me to thoroughly enjoy the experience every time. Also, just a tad bit less wanting to cry for those two OCs since the vent episode, but not 0% ^^'

The plot may be cruel, dark and a bit humorous… but the relationship these two have really makes I tear up every time I watch.
