I would argue that there are other needs more important than IDL that you can spend your 1st rounder on this year. But you are correct. If Quinnen keeps up his usual, WM4 builds on his success, JJ returns from injury without losing a step, AND Mason Graham lives up to his hype right away...QBs and offenses will not sleep well at night before or after they play us. This move doesn't excite me the most, but would not be mad at it either.

Couldn’t agree more! If we can’t get a future franchise QB then Graham would be a great consolation prize. We bring graham in and we have a dominant starting defensive line that can be the core of this defense.

Biggest weakness of the D is definitely D line. Graham no matter what. Q needs a partner to take away the double team and prevent O linemen from getting to next level.

I am a Michigan guy, so I would not be unhappy. However, priority is the O-line. Until we a starting 5 who ranks in the top 10, nothing else matters, The other choice is WR..we need 2 legit WR and we have 1.

Yes because a defense is 11 and a qb is 1. That's simply why 90 percent of all super bowl winning teams in history, had top 10 defenses. 1/3 of your entire(starting) team would be top 10 in the league. Simple math

Better QB and those 5 one score game losses are potential wins puttkng the Jets in position for a playoff run. Getting that one position solidified allows the rest of roster to flourish... @Jets_Johnson what do you define as top 5? Top 10 defenses don't sniff 20 missed tackles in a game all year, Jets have close to 3 off the top of my head. They also have several 4th Q drives this year with 10 missed tackles, in a single drive. Top 10 defenses don't give up 70-80 yard drives at the end of games to lose. Jets have 3 losses in a row where they had the lead with less than 2 minutes and ended up losing because of defensive penalties or giving up big plays. The Jets do not have a top 5 defense. And its comical that you say the 5 1 score games would have gone the other way with a better QB. That's not how football across the league works. You cant miss kicks, get penalties on 3rd down on both offense and defense and miss 20 missed tackles in a game multiple times and win. That's why the Jets suck and your cope is why Jets fans don't understand why the Jets suck. Team sport bud, not a tennis match. Keep drafting and ruining young QBs if you want, that's not how anyone else in the NFL generates winning seasons

There are no top QBs. Shedur and Ward are not NFL caliber QBs. Shedur also comes with the Deions baggage and input. Ward wont have the time to throw and decipher Ds or open WRs. He errs constantly when 1st WR is covered.
