This goes to show you how the so called professionals are so negative and don’t know anymore than us fans. The man was a rookie last year and they spoke down on him before they gave him a chance to develop or adjust to NFL playbooks, speed, and schemes. He won the heisman in college with the same type of stats he currently has in the NFL, more passing yards than rushing. Now he’s making NFL players look like college kids on the field. Just enjoy it. He’ll also will have ups and downs, and as soon as he has a down they’ll start this negative news again. They are anticipating him getting hurt, so they can say, I told you so. Smh. I can’t stand negativity, but that’s how the analyst make they money. The need to be talking about how bad the other QBs drafted before him are looking like bust right now. But even those QBs need a chance to adjust. Lamar is making the players around him better. We didn’t know who (90 percent of his offensive support Mark Ingram and who) was till this season. So STOP!!! ✌🏽Die Hard Brady fan. Bill wasn’t known till Brady. The Pats weren’t very successful till Brady. But this is about Lamar right now. Keep improving yo craft as a QB and stay healthy young star.

The ravens as a team failed against the titans. The defense couldn't stop Henry in the second half. Receivers were dropping passes. They knew that the others teams were not going to pick him because the league is bias when it comes to Black QB's. Somel they know exactly what they was doing. @charlesljones24545 жыл бұрын
@Brian Noland but the one important disadvantage is pay. Once they see your skill set then they will pay you. But my point is no team that drafted a quarterback before Lamar has a quarterback with a better record.
@charlesljones24545 жыл бұрын
@Brian Noland I basically agreed with every point you made . However my point is it costs you to get drafted late financially until you prove yourself . There are a lot of individuals who get lavish contracts and get paid for nothing in the first year. I'm sure Lamar will become one of the highest paid quarterbacks but getting drafted late did cost him.
@charlesljones24545 жыл бұрын
@Brian Noland I'm through discussing this subject with you . I made one point and with you it became a montage of dangling participles. I was only talking about the present not projecting about the future. It's a known fact that sports analysts can cause some athletes to lose revenue with their critiques causing them.to be drafted lower and lose revenue but like I said their skill set when proven will assure that they will be paid accordingly in the future. We were both basically saying the same thing so there's no need to argue the point.

I don't think it's because he's black, I think it's because he's supremely athletic and people just can't imagine a quarterback being able to run and throw, it ruins the decades long narrative of you have to sit in the pocket and throw. Steve Young used to get shit on and told he needed to stay in the pocket, Tebow was shit on (rightly so) for not being able to stay in the pocket, Vick had to deal with it and now Jackson. The NFL, along with it's pundits, is like so many other organizations, they get stuck in a box and can only imagine success a certain way. Hell look at the NBA as players, black players, were always criticizing the Warriors because they were a jump shooting team, they showed you can win championships being a jump shooting team and this ruined the decades long belief that you can't win a championship that way. I'm not saying race plays no part in it, I'm certain it does, but most of these guys it's less about his race and more of a lack of imagination.

Somewhere in the video, there's a white guy asking whether LJ's a runningback or a QB. That's just cause it's a black guy doing it and doing it best. Meanwhile, they're giving the Heisman trophy to Joe Burrow (QB/LSU), a white boy, for doing the same thing. I bet he has no problem with him running instead of being a pocket passer. What an hypocrite mofo? They can give a Heisman to all those white boys, but once in the league, they won't do a damn thing. They'll all bust. I'm talking about Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence; they can draft them in the first round if they want, they won't be able to sustain the kind of work load that Cam Newton, Deshaun Watson or LJ have been sustaining. Not all black people got your back! They play right in to controversy. That's how they keep those jobs. Jackson is the best. But I'm going wt SF. Hey Lamar I watched you since college keep doing what you're doing. 1000. Thank you! Mic'19 ADOS get involved

Love how analysts still downplay Lamar, even till this day. It’s absolutely ridiculous. He’s one of the few players who’ve won MVP and took their team to the playoffs back to back years, conservatively, and broke records in the process. Just astounding. Makes you really wonder why we even listen to some of these analysts at all.

HATERS will always HATE, and JEALOUSY is a sign insecurity!!! The fact is: The only purpose of a QB is to get the ball to his players, and when he can't, make something happen himself!!! Which is exactly what Lamar does, and he's the BEST in the game at it today!!!!!! He's not supposed to be like anyone else, JUST HIMSELF, and get it done his way!!!! THAT'S WHAT YOU DO IN LIFE!!! It doesn't have to happen like the media wants it to happen, IT JUST HAS TO HAPPEN!!!!!

Fire all of these suckers! They don't know jack! I will never listen to these so call experts about who can or can't play. Your MVP for 2019 is Lamar Jackson! Wow what a bunch of jerks!
@datpspguy5 жыл бұрын
As sad as this is, it's almost necessary to have these types of comments to help fuel you to beak glass ceilings and bring out the best in someone. Lamar plays with that chip on his shoulder and smiles through it all....glad he has tough skin and glad that he's on his way to changing the perspective of the African American QB.

It is like these Sports Experts had never seen what he did in college. You'd think he walk off the local recreation team and put on some pads. Did you not watch one of his many college performances? Just admit that the league ( Sports Experts are the league too) are still not wanting to see Black QB's succeed. I thought Doug Williams ended that debate.
