Can’t thank you enough for having this clip available… I (Miami born and raised… Phins up!) was actually at this game front row (bought season tickets off my boss while Miami was in shambles as opposed to… never mind), while dating a gal from New Hampshire (she, obviously a diehard Pats fan)… and we opted to leave early and beat the traffic with 3-4 mins left Miami down by 11. Heard the failed 2-point conversion on the radio driving home. Both of us were surprised the Phins pulled off a TD, not so much the 2-point conversion didn’t work. Still down by 5, it’s Tommy and the squad, so forgone conclusion… but whatever was in the Gatorade that night just made it happen. GF literally called her dad to bemoan losing in just that short amount of time while I drove us home hooting and hollering over the win. Possibly the best quick-upset for the NFL of my life and I missed it. The boss I bought the tickets from showed up 3 hours late the next day and couldn’t believe I had left early, he said damn-near every Dol-phan went back to the lot and started tailgating again. 🤣

I guess you could say I'm a former fan of the NFL in general but I also happened to be a huge Miami fan. Since I stopped watching football in general, I guess that meant I don't follow Miami anymore, either. It's nothing against Miami, I wanna make that clear. I still love watching games and highlights back when the league wasn't a complete embarrassment. I noticed around 2011 that the league was progressively getting worse in terms of quality of play and rules being passed that affected how players are allowed to play. Not to mention that everything needs to get reviewed all the time because referees can't seem to do their jobs right and games lasted over 3hrs more often than not. Once 2014 came around, I just had enough of the crap going on. I made this decision even before the whole kneeling controversy. There's more to the story but I hope that makes sense for you guys. Still got my old Dolphins gear, though lol

The matchup between 2 of the greatest Head Coaches in Football history. Bill Bellicheck, and Nick Saben. Even tho Nick didn’t have a good NFL career, he is still one of, if not the best College Football coach in history. Both his days in LSU, and Alabama. Putting together a great season before the Playoffs with the Tide this year, can’t wait to see more

1:45 it was sad to see Welker not make into the endzone after all that huge amount of running on the punt return . easy for us to say after the fact, but he should have headed towards the middle of the field a couple strides earlier . yeah he set Miami up on the two yard line and td run afterwards, but still ... take into account he started at one side of the field and ended up on the other , he probably ran about a 90+ yards total on that 73 yrd punt return .
@TheLocalLt4 жыл бұрын
what I remember cam newton (oddly enough also on MNF against the patriots) once ran 73 total yards for an 18 yard run on 3rd & 18
