One of McNair’s worst game came at M&T Bank Stadium, January 2007. On that day the Ravens did something no other NFL team did that year: hold Peyton Manning out of the end zone. Colts only scored 15 points that game, all via FG’s. The Ravens could only muster 6 points. The turning point was when Steve McNair got picked off on the Indianapolis 2. I didn’t expect the Colts defense to play the way they did. That was a brutal loss for the Ravens, as well as the city of Baltimore. Losing to the very same franchise that skipped out of town “under the cover of darkness,” and a late March snowfall. I was 25 at the time and, to this day, I’ll never forget the feeling of loss.

This game and the game in 2008ish in the playoffs(Titans again number 1 seed, like this game) when Ravens had a delay of game on 3rd down with less that 2 minutes in the game, the refs miss it, and they get a long pass play to get in field goal range.

Steven White I can’t disagree. Our best 2 players was on offense and Ravens best was on defense. This was a 10-10 defensive battle except for the 2 non-offensive TDs. This is exciting football. Ravens made the plays. And this was back when they played football like it supposed to be played. Even if the WR don’t catch the ball, he will get his head taken off if he go across the middle. You can bang with the WRs after 5 yards. You can pop the quarterback above the shoulders and below the knees. You won’t get a foul if you touch someone a half second after he step out of bounds.

The Ravens 2000 squad is like p0rn to defensive coordinators. Loads of talent and you could see Ray Lewis peaking in real time.

Titans had a great team, but the Raven's defense was one of the all-time best.

I miss the old AFC Central. Four tough teams around the late 90's and early 2000's with the Titans, Ravens, Jaguars, and Steelers. Browns and Bengals simply existed to take a beating.

The things I would do to be able to watch this game and the 2000 Super Bowl LIVE. Every Ravens fan that’s old enough to have been able to experience this season and this game is so lucky

The 2000 Titans defense is one of the best defenses ever, they're under rated when it comes to all time defenses. Led the league in fewest yards allowed and fewest passing yards. Ravens were just that good
@glong864 жыл бұрын
If Al Del Greco did his job the Titans would've won. That was probably the worst special teams performance by a team ever.

Worst special teams I’ve ever seen from both teams. Ravens have 2 punts blocked, Titans have a missed FG, 2 blocked FGs one of which was returned for the go-ahead TD Also the Lewis pick-6 made up for a huge drop by Shannon Sharpe

This game was the beginning of the end for that early Titans era of McNair and George. Yes, they made it back to the playoffs the following years and even reached the AFC Championship in 2002, but those teams were a shell of their former dominant selves from 1999-2000. The Titans had one of the best home field advantages until this 2000 season when the Ravens went into Nashville and beat them twice.
@pp3k3jamail6 жыл бұрын
Not really Tennessee went 11-5 in 2002 and went to the AFC Championship game then in 2003 they went 12-4 and lost in the divisional round to the Patriots.

Both the 2000 Ravens and the 2001 Patriots won the Super Bowl by playing excellent special teams and defense. Ravens had no business beating the Titans here just like the 2001 Patriots had no business beating the 2001 Rams

There offense was below average. The Giants defense was tough on them during the superbowl expect for a few handful of plays
@Eli-ss9gj2 жыл бұрын
@@bigrich6075 the few handful of plays did them in, because the Ravens defense wasn’t giving the Giants’ offense anything. The Giants advanced past midfield twice the entire game iirc
