Lindrsom's injury history is why I am so high on Iginla, Mtl has had way too many injury prone players over the last decades. gimme another iron man, as for Sennecke. good player but he would be a huge gamble at 5th... kind of KK gamble

Sennecke went through a massive growth spurt this yr, and he had to take time to catch up with it. I’m hoping he’s one we trade up to, 11-15 for. Grant McCagg has him in the top 5

I get how you may think the new GM May like Necas more than Waddell but it’s the coach who’s playing him on the 3rd line when he’s demanding more ice time and a bigger role.

He was on the 2nd line. But it is true that he and Brind-Amour don't see eye to eye. Necas wants to play center to have freedom to skate more which would increase his points but Brind'Amour thinks he's not responsible enough defensively. They're both right but they prioritize different things. A trade seems best for both sides.

More and more I am thinking that Demidov a d Lindstrom will both be gone ahead of the 5th pick. So, who to take? Iginla? Sennecke? I am OK with either.

It is a serious possibility but the latest Mackenzie's draft ranking tends to project that 2 defensemen might go top4; if it does, then either Demidov or Lindstrom will be available to Montreal. I believe there is still a russian factor for prospects coming from Russia and Demidov might slide a couple of spots....within the top 5 !!!

@@davidrobinson4119 If they do...then both Demidov and Lindstrom will be gone. However, Chicago needs size up front to play with Bedard and also need a top line defenseman; this is why Chicago could go for Lindstrom or Levshunov which is a safest pick of the two.

If you are looking to use the draft pick it depends on who they draft at 5. If they draft Lindstrom. I think you draft Basha his linemate. The chemistry is already there. That's my sleeper. Andrew Basha 😎

Sennecke? A third liner if ever there was one and a perfect and typical habs choice. They are apparently allergic to elite talent and I think the Slafkovsky pick was a fluke. Lindstrom? A bad back on a teenager with the habs injury history?

If Chicago takes Levshunov, I would not be surprised if both Demidov and Lindstrom could be available at 5th. At least 2 defensemen will go top4, so hopefully Montreal will draft the right guy !!!

Not sure Wheeler knows anything about the Habs intentions but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were extremely high on Parekh. If you're looking for high-end skills, he's right up there with Demidov.
