+Gurvir Atwal By no means ass. He had a .914 and .910 his first 2 seasons on a trash team which is right around average at the time. Considering he was playing half the games and out of his prime, it's pretty good. A .305 on a slightly improving isles team his last season there was not that good, I'll give you that.

Matthew Macinnis Al MacInnis? MacInnis is a HOFer who played most of his career in the 80s and 90s. He only played in the 2000s from 2000-2003. I wouldn't categorize him as "forgotten" either. He had the most famous slapshot, I think, of any player in hockey history.

For someone that really watched hockey I don't think these guys are forgotten. You gave us the stats, they don't go unnoticed. In 10 years people will still remember Claude Giroux, Zach Parise, Eric Staal, etc. If you know hockey you know these guys. I didn't start watching hockey till about 2009. But I know these guys, I know that they were good. Would've liked to see guys that are relatively glanced over, similar to James Neal, Josh Bailey, or Dustin Bufuglien of today's era

Your definitoon of "forgotten" differs from mine. Hejduk? Everybody remembers hejduk. The forgotten guy on those avs teams is adam foote. Kiprusoff? Again, who doesnt remember him? Tho my favorite kiprusoff moment wasnt in an nhl game. I think it was the 2010 olympics semifinals, team usa scored 4 goals on him within like 5 minutes, and he pulled himself. I never saw that before or after. The closest was roys last game in montreal, where he kept asking to be taken out, but even he stayed on the ice til he was pulled, 9 goals later. Jeff o'neil is pretty forgotten. Marty turco. Jozef stumpel, ziggy palffey
