@@Clearfully Especially given how awful he's been most of his time here, and that he started the first week not even looking like he belonged in the AHL, let alone the NHL it got so bad. He did battle back and started the road to redemption by about mid season on. The main thing I don't like about his game is he takes too many bad penalties, but I'd rather then then being an on ice spectator costing us goals. At least when he's taking penalties, that means he's playing the game rather then watching the game even while on the ice.

@@Clearfully I think the main source of problems is the $6 mil cap hit every year for what amounts to a bottom half stay at home defenseman. If he were paid at most half that, I think much of the vitriol would never have started up in the first place. That's always been my main gripe about him up until that disasters outing last season with OEL. I always thought he was alright, but heavily overpaid for what he is and brings.
@Seriously_Unserious9 ай бұрын
@@Clearfully Though I think Alvain and Rutehrford were preparing for the likelihood of Myres leaving at the end of this season and that's a big part of why they got Zedorov, so they'd have a big, hard hitting, clear the net defenseman to take Myres' place, plus, at the time they got Zedorov, Myres was barely playing NHL hockey and at times barely playing AHL hockey, so they probably were considering refusing to make him an offer. Since then he has leveled up his game and gotten back into it and I could see him staying for about a $3 mil cap hit per year contract at most, maybe even as low as $2 mil. If he decides to hang up the skates after this, and go on his terms, on a high note, we've got good prospects like Juulsen and Friedman waiting in the wings to step up, along with some developing guys like Jett Wu who may also be ready to step up in a couple more years.

Hey guys the Canucks showed up to play. Doubters still be doubting? Hard nosed win this team is in its spot for a reason.

Still doubting. Still traumatized :( Enjoying the ride, though!

Let's just say I asked that and got an incurable doubter who thinks the Canucks will drop the next 4 straight on a Legorocks video analyzing this game.

It's only one game and they were behind for most if it.

@@zero604 and they never gave up, never surrendered, and who came out on top? Oh, right the CANUCKS did. Seems Nashville still can't hold a lead. Gonna be tough for them to not get a quick early out if they can't protect a lead in the 3rd. The Canucks are going to be a tough team to beat if they can defend a lead as they've been doing all season long, and no lead is safe from them making a comeback and getting the W regardless of what happened earlier in the game.

Nice Win ! Luckily, the Preds are not a very physical team at all. Nuks applied a heavier forecheck and Nashville folded - couldn't match it.
