The defense has been pretty damn solid lately. Not giving up odd man rushes every 3 minutes or leaving guys wide open in front of the crease. Husso has to be wondering where this was when he was healthy.

Husso also let in a lot of soft goals. Yes the defense was worse. But he wasn’t helping. Lyon maybe not a .924 goalie. But he has been solid when the def has been lacking. Making saves that Husso let in.

@@jackconrad2667 I didn’t imply he didn’t let in some bad ones all year. The D gave him no help all year though. The defense wasn’t even this good for Lyon last month even though. They are giving up almost 2 goals less per game the past 3 weeks vs 3 weeks prior to that

@@TheVlad1616 as for how Detroit looks now. Def is absolutely improving. But the def on paper looks pretty subpar. So Lyon will need to cover the difference when the def comes back to normal. I have no problem being wrong.

@@AC-nq6os 😂😂😂 No he hasn’t. We went through a rough stretch because we were without 3 of our top 6, and down to our 3rd goalie for part of it. When we got healthy, we got hot. He was playing when we started to get hot. When he got hurt against Toronto we had beat Nashville, lost a good game against Boston, swept California, took a point from Edmonton, and beat LA the night before.
