Penguins outplayed Seattle for a good portion of the game especially in the first period, but the Kraken got pucks in the net through sheer persistence. In the end that's all that matters. Hats off to Grubauer being an absolute animal while his team struggled to get started at first.

Duh. I would love to see Crosby finish his career with a cup contender, but he will unfortunately wither away with the Penguins as they flirt with mediocrity. They could get some crazy return if they traded him though.

he will have to decide next year if he wants to retire KNOWING the Pens won't be a TRUE contender for years. I don't think he would want to play anywhere else UNLESS He decides no matter what, next year is it and takes a trade at trade deadline to go to a Cup contender. Then resigns a one day contract and retires a Pen. I really don't see that happening. I don't think he will ever play for another team.

Agreed that it was not a slash---but a "pook" check, a little more than that. I think the U.S.A. has been involved with hockey for enough decades to not be painted with the giant brush of "typical American announcer". More like a typical announcer seeing Things as a fan of his team.
