Honestly, the Hartman bit is a Hat-Pick for me. Not because of the birdie, but because of what came before and after. Before: Evander Kane took a cheap shot at Kirill Kaprizov, who immediately dropped his stick and retaliated. The other Wild skaters on the ice quickly rushed to their star's defense, once again demonstrating the bond the players have developed this season. After: A fan managed to find Hartman's Venmo account, and within hours, donations were flooding in to cover Hartman's fine for the...y'know. The best part was that Hartman's mother and Kane's estranged ex-wife also donated! Hartman also recently announced that he would pay the fine with his own money, and all funds that come in by 7PM CDT on Friday night would be donated to Children's Minnesota. What a time to be a Minnesota Wild fan.

It’s about time we appreciate the organists! I always love hearing what kind of flair they have to add to the game. Them and the sound guys in the stadium, they can have a great sense of humor. I forget which playoff game it was last year, but the refs and Toronto were taking a long time to review a goal or call and the sound guys started playing “Waiting is the hardest part”

re: the last clip, I think it gets understated just how _boring_ most of the life of a goalie really is. Around half of your game is spent _watching_ the action from the opposite side of the ice, and that's on the nights you play at all! If someone told me that goalies only roam to play the puck because they're itching to do _something, anything_ at all, I would likely believe them.

Vasy is not an instance of "if you're a goaltender tend the goal." If a puck carrier doesn't have firm control of the puck on a breakaway, it's generally a good move to a) gain territory on them to close down the angle and take away time, and b) disrupt their shot with a poke check. Good move that kinda worked out.

The whole situation with Ryan Hartman was hilarious. The NHL fined him $4,250 for flipping off Evander Kane, but Minnesota Wild fans - with the help of Kane's ex - raised enough money to pay off the fine for him lol. Hartman refused to use their money to pay the fine, so he donated it to a Children's hospital instead.
