A guy in my area was a smalltime Bruins player who slept with the GM's wife (B's GM was an a-hole and responsible for them losing for so many years, as well as being for a short time a very useless commentator for CBC). He never played again and later played music in a smalltime band in my area.

Subban such a dummo. Running his mouth calling someone short then they pan back and he’s shorter than the interviewer 😂 He tried to be funny with his little trash talk against Crosby with some stupid mouthwash line and look how that worked out The best way to remember him is being gifted Norris and Carl Hagelin absolutely smoking him to get to the puck and secure the Cup

Marleau may have had the edge in playoff numbers, but check the Points, per game numbers, instead of the total points. Also, the Sharks playoff letdowns are well documented. I'm obviously not in the dressing room but J.R. seems to have a point, even though he should be a bit more respectful, sometimes. He's turning In to an American Don Cherry. ;) That's not always a bad thing but show a little more respect. Cheers from Quebec

how can you say that Roenick and Marleau had similar numbers? Marleau played 416 more games than Roenick and had 19 less points. For playoff points Marleau played in 41 more games, That is half a season or extra games and only had 5 more points than Roenick.

@brianpistolwhip2 жыл бұрын
Let me introduce you to denominators. Roenick beat Marleau in regular season points big time when you consider that he played 400 less games than him but still earned more points. This logic goes for the playoffs as well. Roenick played 40 less games and Marleau had 5 more points. He didn't edge him out. If Roenick had 40 more games, wouldn't he have gotten more than 5 points? Come on, Roenick wins hands down.

The Lindros vs. Brindamour rumor is not true. Eric went to highschool in my city and even then he didn't sleep around with the many girls who wanted him. Lindros is a reserved, traditional type of guy. He's loyal to his friends and he doesn't do things to hurt others. People love to bash him, but if you look at his history, he was correct about concussion protocols and he was correct not to go to Quebec after they drafted him. Quebec folded and moved to Denver. Yes, they won cups, but Lindros knew the owner and the team in Quebec wasn't stable. He didn't hate French people at all - he ended up marrying a french girl from Quebec and they have kids together.
@pjpredhomme76992 жыл бұрын
boy I do not know about that one - I did not go to high school with him but that story has far too many specific details - and has been around for over 25 yrs for there not to be a lot of truth to it . And BTW all the other things you say about him I think are also true . He was certainly correct about Marcel Aubut and history has confirmed that . I have heard many former teammates talk about him as if they genuinely liked him . But the train got waaaaaay off the tracks in Philly. There were and are more than just Eric Lindros as a problem there - they still are a fiasco
