I was over the outdoor game about ten years ago Bettman thinks he reinvented the wheel. Will be interesting to see if the ice / weather holds up for these two. And Petterson is not at the level of player Eichel is.

Great report as usual Mike! Re: LA: man 'o man....the film on the news of LA is terrifying. Hoping for the best for all there. Re: knee on knee injuries: seems like these are happening almost every night. NHL needs to step in and address this like with head sgots. Knee on knee hits are among the most dangerous and can be career ending!!! Re: Demidov: let him finish his season in KHL. Habs are in the hunt with their current roster and it's going to be a rat race to game 82!!!!! Re: Penguins: their "Cup window" is virtually closed. Time to jettison some contracts. Re: Zibanejad: this guy intrigues me. He has been a beast the past few years. I am baffled by his plummeting game. Drury has to take some of the blame by how he's mind-screwed his players BUT it am baffled by how far Zibanejad has fallen. A change of scenery would probably help him & I suspect he's still good for 2-3 more solid seasons if he can find his game again. Re: Canucks: keep Pettersson...he's 26yo with tremendous upside. Miller is 31 yo and still has a couple good years left and would be a good fit in Beantown. Re: Leafs: O'Reilly would be a great fit in return to the Leafs. They should send Nic Robertson and Easton Cowan & a bag of pucks in trade.
