This is absolutely the finest, most detailed audio recording of Top Fuel Hemi's I've ever heard! Holy crap, it's even in *stereo*! Totally. Freakin'. Awesome! Care to share your tech setup? LOL! My only slight critique would be that we cannot see the Tree during staging. Other than that, this is the best video coverage of Top Fuel I've ever seen. And *heard*.

Wow ! Thank you sir, my setup is just the sony AX53 which has the best image stabilization on the market ( B.O.S.S. Balanced Optical Steady Shot ) it can record 4k video as well but only at 30fps, so I shoot in 1080p@60fps because of fast motion I need 60fps....Unfortunately they not running Pomona this November so we gotta wait to February 2021 for the Winternationals again...but i will be ready & plan to shoot 2 days at the Winternationals...i have 5 brand new SD cards ready & another battery for my camcorder so I won't have to worry about running under the grandstands looking to charge up during some sportsman class qualifying. 👍

You must shoot video yourself or do some type of photography, it is hard to look through the lens nonstop for several classes without resting BUT I want the viewer to see what he or she would see if they are at the track themselves.... I feel the final result is worth it to just sacrifice & record the full burnout, back up & staging process. However my next shoot at the Winternationals in Pomona 2021 will be even better than this years videos. Again Gracious 🙏👍

@@frank-xp6pj I swear the first couple of passes at the Winternationals or Finals you can't see the cars because the vibration rattles your eyeballs around so much. The east of Sonoma is pretty good. But a lot of the new tracks -- including Vegas and Charlotte -- you're a mile away from everything. It's pointless to go and watch.

I used to think that when a dragster would blow his engine on the way down the track, that they were screwed and would have to break out a back up engine or something. It wasn't till recently that learned that the engine is pretty much replaced between every race. Now I know there are a few components that are used again, but for the most part its totally stripped and re-built. That's crazy.
