2:42:42 Can confirm that Crush hit my only battery in the bot. Idk how the it kept on moving but it did eventually succumb to the battery fire. I really can't complain about going on to the top 16 though. Great event!

those "melty brain" bots really need to work on making the bot more controllable, one good way is making a "stop movement" button, which stops the bot from moving, while keeping it spinning. for that you need to have small laser sensor (like on computer mice) that keeps track of when bot is moving or not compared to environment. this would greatly help keep it from bouncing into walls all the time

Of course, you'd never know what it was going to be because he'd say "upside down, upside down" until the picture was turned the right way up and voila!

You need to revise the pinning rules, all we see are 90% beater bots, since any crusher and control bot have to make advanced manoeuvrers just to get a 10 second pin countdown, where as beaters and other spinners just have to mindlessly drive forward. I like spinners, but not when 90% of the bots advancing are spinners. Like how is a crusher ever going to work if it has to disengage instantly every time?

some of those designs just hurt my brain ... CAN'T they see it DOESN'T WORK??? that dynamic duo is one of them ... don't they have eyes? all you need to make it WORK properly, is to add 2 long forks on each side. similar to that jelly robot has, only metal. i don't know all the bot names, but lot of verticals have perfect forks so they can control their opponent, if they miss, then those forks still get stuck under them and will correct the enemy right in front of them. those 4 short forks DOESN'T WORK and they just can't see it ... it really hurts my brain seeing people struggle with common sense. there were some vertical spinners aswell that don't have the works, so they just bounce around and miss 99% of their hits. specially in lower weight classes, you can't have bot without forks as they're too sensitive and will bounce around, so you need better method to control the opponent and longer forks are best way of doing that, but they just can't get it thru their head .. it's so painful to watch. chainsaw kitty is actually good example of how you should make those forks, it's so good for controlling the opponent and it makes it so easy to get good hits. one look at that bot and i instantly knew it's effective, one look at dynamic duo .. and i knew it doesn't work.
