and how you said you can tell niall takes this seriously, he truly does. if you watch any interviews of him talking about his music he talks in detail about the process of writing his music, recording it, and even talks a lot about the production of making his albums. he definitely isn’t the type of artist to just shit on a cd and release it lol and i’m glad other people can see that! i’m so proud of him, he was always an underdog in the band and now he’s one of the biggest out of all of them. and i bet he loves having all the creative freedom he has now 🖤 (even though i know 1D was involved with their music, especially the later 4 albums, i’m sure all of them like the fact that they are creating their own music now and don’t have to necessarily figure out what works between all five of them ya know. i’m sure making your own music and making all your own decisions instead of having to figure out what makes all members happy is a great feeling and i know a lot of have talked about how that’s a pro they’ve been enjoying with being solo)

The problem for Niall's voice in 1D is that he wasn't appreciated. Fans didn't like him, management gave him small parts of songs, they didn't think he was a good match compared Zayn, Liam and Harry. The same happened to Louis. There are so many stories where Niall has been forced to be in pictures with fans because of the other boys forced him, because they loved him. Theres a pic, with Liam grabbing the back of Niall's shirt while he's trying to get out of the frame cause the girls didn't want him in the picture. When you're constantly told you not good enough, you begin to believe it. I have always admired Niall, he deserves all of the success. I always thought he'd become a songwriter and not full on musician because it always seemed like he had low self-esteem. But this album, seeing the range, this is the Niall I saw back in 2012. He deserves everything and more. You should listen to Dress and Nothing - part of the deluxe Target album beautiful.

Watching this after just watching your video on The Show is honestly making me sad... I love Niall, don't get me wrong, but DAMN is Heartbreak Weather just fundamentally a better album than The Show. His voice being the center stage of each song, the lyrics being SO thoughtful, strong bridges, and only 1-2 skips??? Couldn't ask for anything more, honestly.
