Alex Brightman does the voice for both Adam and Sir Pentious and in the same universe in the other show Helluva Boss does the voice for another important character, Fizzaroli! Alex is a broadway star for Beetlejuice and also the Jack Black character in School of Rock! I absolutely love this dude and how talented he is!! Yeah, there are a few things to note about how Hell works in this universe. Firstly there are two major types of demons. The first are Sinners, who are humans who have been damned to Hell after death. When they arrive in Hell they gain a demonic form that usually reflects how they died and is designed to make them hate how they look. Alastor is a notable example, seeing how his demon form is that of a deer, referencing how he died in a deer hunting related accident. Sinners cannot reproduce, are confined to the Pride Ring of Hell and are biologically immortal. The only way they can be killed is through the use of blessed weapons, which angels use during the Extermination, explaining why Hell is so overcrowded. The second type of Demons are Hellborn, which are exactly what they sound like. These are demons that were born in Hell. They vary a lot depending on how high up the hierarchy they are, but the lower classes are able to be killed with regular weaponry, whilst royals need the blessed weapons described before. Charlie is the only Hellborn in the main cast of Hazbin, but the sister series, Helluva Boss focuses a lot more on how the lower and upper classes of Hellborn live in this world. The Hierarchy of Hell basically works like this, from highest to lowest: 1. Lucifer. A fallen Angel. The King of Hell and the Sin of Pride. 2. Lilith. The First Woman and Lucifer’s wife. The Queen of Hell 3. Charlie Morningstar. Their daughter. A smol bean. 4. The remaining Six Members of The Seven Deadly Sins. Asmodeus. Satan. Leviathan. Mammon. Beelzebub. Belphegor. They each run a ring of Hell, kinda like Dante’s Inferno. 5. The Ars Goetia. A collection of 72 noble Demon families with very strong magic and rigid sensibilities. 6. Overlords. Powerful demons who have come into being by providing necessary advancements to Hell. Alastor is the Overlord of Radio, because he brought the idea of radio with him to Hell when he died. 7. Sinners. Described above. 8. Hellborn demons. 9. Imps and Hellhounds. The lowest of the low. Often working class or even slaves.

Just got done watching the pilot episode reaction and this appears lol. By the way, you're one of the first to watch the pilot first, as you should. Most people I've seen just start right from episode one, which in this case isn't bad since it does a great job of explaining things. But it's still nice. Helluva Boss is by the same creator, and it's all on KZbin, and is set in the same world. It's the sister show to Hazbin and also great. Definitely recommend it!

It`s new VAs but also the current VAs are who Vivienne coached the Pilot ones to sound like in the first place so aside from Stephanie as Vaggie having an even deeper voice from Monica Franco which fits because the characters are slightly older than they were in The Pilot and Blake Roman`s Angel Dust being even more nasally than the original Michael Kovach version, the transition isn`t that jarring.

You should check out Helluva Boss since you're enjoying Hazbin. They're by the same creator, it's the same universe and setting, just different characters. I'd be curious to see your reaction to Ozzie and Fizzeroli, as well as Stolas and Blitz. All the episodes are here for free on youtube because the creator, Viv Medrano, kept the IP for her own start-up company and produced the episodes while Hazbin was getting negotiated and picked up for its run on Amazon. Theres 1.5 seasons atm, we're about halfway, or a little past that, in season 2 for Helluva so there's plenty there to watch 😊 I think the pilot may have been taken down from public viewership but I have it in my Helluva Boss complete playlist if you ever want to see everything from the very start 😊

The point of extermination is to diminish Hell's constant growing population of sinners so they won't uprise against Heaven. Only the sinner demons (damned human souls) are targeted, with Hellborn demons like Charlie being spared since they are the natives of Hell. Sinners are immortal, since the point of them being in Hell is to torment them forever. They can be shot, cut, crushed, burn... whatever, and never truly die, since their souls will always put their bodies back together, a proccess that is quite painful, being similar to a hangover. The only way to truly kill a sinner is through angelic weapons that is able to pierce their soul. After sinners die, their souls are absorved by the environment, which it's possible to see through the many eyes that are seen around. When it comes to hellborns, it all depends on the kind. Charlie and any other demon with royal status are immortal like sinners, while the rest of hellborn (like imps and hellhounds) are mortal and grow old like normal humans.

Overlords are a class of sinners that stand out from the rest because they own souls. Despite there is actual money in Hell, when it comes to sinners, the real currency are souls which they get through deals. Owning souls gives power and influence to sinners, the more souls one has, the more power they have. Take Alastor as an example... He owns Husk and (possibly) Niffty, but it's possible he owns many others. An even if Overlords normally stand alone, some of them can actually form alliances so they can be stronger together, which is the case of the Vees. Each Vee commands a especific area that allows them to own many souls, which becomes easier when they help one another: Vox controls the news and media, Velvette controls fashion and social media and Valentino owns a porn studio.

Some quick facts: Vox and Valentino are confirmed to be in a "on and off," relationship. What this means is really up to the viewer. I take it as a strictly s*xual non-romantic relationship, others take it as they sometimes are in a relationship, and sometimes are not. If you're doing two eps at a time MAJOR warning for episode 4 which deals with extremely heavy and sensitive topics. Vox is the TV demon, Velevette is the social media demon, and Valentino is the... well, adult industry demon. All of the Vees are considered "Overlords," which are human born sinners who gain power in by making deals with other sinners. Alastor is also an overlord, and there are serveal other overlords besides the Vees and Alastor. Alastor is canonically asexual but whether he's aromatic is a gray area due to conflicting things Viv and the crew has said over the years. A youtuber called "Ayy Lmao" (yes really) has a great video explaining this, because it would be too long for me to explain here.
