Cup of Coffee Watercolor Tutorial // New Ko-fi Page

Hi guys! Today I'll be painting a cup of coffee, I just thought that it'd be appropriate since I want to also announce my new Ko-fi page. This is still a tutorial, so if you're interested, you can follow along to the painting. It's super easy and I love the effect of the froth, it was so much fun to make! For those of you who doesn't know Ko-fi, it's basically similar to Patreon where people are able to make small tips or donations to creators or artists. I've had some ppl ask me in the past if I have a patreon account and due to certain conditions I didn't feel like it was the right fit, so I feel like this is a step forward towards that as you don't have to do this monthly, and just tip whenever you feel the urge to. This is in no way mandatory, and I hope none of you feel pressured to donate if you don't have the means or if you're not willing. I just want to let you guys know that it is now an option for those of you who are interested in supporting me further if they like the content that I create and if they see fit. So I hope you guys enjoy this video as always and happy painting! ^_^

My goodness, I love this so much. I would have assumed you must have had a photo to look at... and I’m absolutely amazed you could paint this from your mind’s eye! Excellent job. EXCELLENT.

I usually look up references prior to painting, so I can imagine what type of composition looks best and the types of techniques that I'd apply to a specific painting, mostly from a few references all at once. Then I tried it out to make sure that the steps would make sense for me to share (though if it's a personal painting, I just paint straight away). And once I get a good understanding of the object and I can paint my own version, then I film it for KZbin.. So I didn't exactly paint this completely without reference 😅I'm glad you enjoyed the video though! ^__^

This was beautiful and easy to follow for a tutorial. Your artwork is beautiful. I'm just starting to paint with watercolour (complete novice--this is my third ever watercolour attempt and first one that isn't basic flowers) and I gave this a go. I gave it to my mum. She mocks me for making terrible coffee, so I gave her this on her birthday instead of her morning "birthday coffee". She loved it and I can't wait to explore watercolour some more. Thank you.

I just happened upon your tutorial because I wanted to watercolor paint a cup of coffee in my journal. So I looked for a tutorial on KZbin. I enjoyed your tutorial very much!
