God understands that young men want to get buff and strong (Proverbs 20:29 The glory of young men is their strength). One of the secrets to having good strength is the following (Proverbs 31:3 Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.); so, stay away from fornication, pornography, touching women, lust, drunkenness, drugs, lying, stealing etc. But you can make all the gains in the world and lose allot of it weeks after you stop training. (That’s why the Bible says1 Timothy 4: 8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come) So also focus on eternity. Genuine question. I absolutely love going all out every time I'm in the gym, going as heavy as possible without a major form break, etc., but like, how do you make that sustainable? You can do pyramid sets going from 15 reps to 12 reps, to 10, 80, 5, 3, 2, 1 increasing the weight on each set, then going back down. Push, pull, legs split, 6 days in the week. It was cool when I had just started going to the gym, but when you're at an intermediate or even advanced level, how the fuck do you go all out on any exercise multiple times a week for months and years? Steroids until your body falls apart? 2000 calories surplus? Crazy advanced recovery routines? Just go until your body drops dead?

Read the periodization bible from Dave Tate and listen to the Pavel Tsatsouline podcast with Joe Rogan. Use those concepts and figure out what works with your body. It’s definitely not going to be going all out 6 days a week indefinitely (at least in the way you may think “all out” means). You need the same intensity for a stretch/ recovery day that you do for a max deadlift day

The intensity of these guys is insane. . And guys, these guys are doing half reps, cheat reps and bad form after YEARS of training. The body was not designed to take that sort of abuse. Eventually the body will rebel. Disabilitating injuries and early death is a consequence of " train harder than last time". When you're youre young you buy into all this bullshit about "gettin' BIG !" but as you inevitably get older you hopefully get WISER and learn that OPERATIONAL strength beats muscular size each..and ..every time. Working out for 30 years and I've learned to see the body as a complicated yet synchronized bio mechanism of pulleys and levers and cogs etc .... This is the easiest way to understand the body when you visualize it in mechanical terms... These goliaths are admirable no doubt. But fifteen years down the road they will suffer the consequences of 'chasing the dragon' of size and then realize that arthritic pain is very real... Better to be big and strong and to accept your genetic ceiling and concentrate on the wonders of muscular movement rather than muscular "size"... Win the battle (juice) but lose the war (lifetime fitness and capability) OR understand the battle and win the war. All guys need when they get older is a biweekly shot of Testosterone and good nutrition and a proper understanding of bio rythm and bio mechanics. Weights, and a Heavy Bag for drills and you are set for life.

Jesus died for all our sins and rose from the dead (only God can do that) Repent and Believe in Him today to get into heaven. Your thoughts?

People reject the resurrection of Jesus not because they have studied the Historical evidence and found it lacking but rather if He did rise from the dead then He is God and that means your sexual lifestyle must change radically. Been there 5 times myself. Same experience. The first time was awe inspiring and my workout sucked. I was too caught up in the place. But the second to 5th were amazing. It is as basic and simple a place can be. No frills. Equal chances of getting tons of muscle as there is getting tetanus. Lots of old rusty equipment. Duct tape. Chalk. Dried blood. For only the most hardcore athletes for sure.
