This is my first time driving in India after 5 years, I don't drive too much when I'm out there. This was a should little fun drive.

@@bencodykirk Thats just one road you have seen. India has a mix of both amazing roads and the worst ever roads full of potholes. Most roads except highway roads have potholes. Indian city traffic roads are one of the most difficult to drive compared to any other part of the world. We have animals on roads: cows, bulls, dogs, sometimes elephants, etc., and in India there is a great number of two-wheelers, unlike other places where cars are the majority, so you need to be extra cautious. Many people violate rules here, especially change lanes very fast without using indicator, drive in wrong side, so imagine tackling them and driving safe.

The thing about the Fortuner is that it’s not just massive, it also misses out on a lot of features that should be available on a car at that price which would make driving easier such as 360 camera, ADAS, Dead Pedal, Automatic Wipers/ Headlamps, Auto Hold etc.

@@sha22276 It's due to it being sold in India, if you look at a Fortuner from other countries, it's much better equiped Everest(Fortuner) in Austarilia is loaded So is the Fortuner in the UAE

You haven't seen city roads yet those are just villages. 😂 I used to drive all the time in Punjab. After driving in Canada for the last 6 years on those wide roads with very little traffic and people following rules, when i went back to Punjab, i couldn't bring myself to drive in a city. As soon as i left the airport and was in the car to go home, i was shocked at the traffic, people not following any road rules at all. Huge differences compared to Canadian roads.

Finally you drive car with indicators on correct site. Old English cars or lorries had them on right as well. It makes sense, left hand changing gear and right hand holding steering wheel. During changing gear you are able to use indicators. Unfortunately car companies rejected to continue this trend because they produce more lhd vehicles and it's cheaper for them use just one standard. So driving lhd vehicle is much easy to change indicators and lights during changing gears.

I can’t believe that it’s the same as my village in Pakistan. The driving there is like everyone for themselves and what’s annoying is no one gives way unless you first horn and secondly, your vehicle is bigger. The first car I learnt to drive in was a Chevrolet, and they had the Indicator lever in left and wipers in the right of the steering wheel. Till date, in a crunch situation my natural instinct is to use the left lever. It's so funny to see someone other than myself turn on the wipers thinking it's the indicators. 100% can relate 😂😂

Hi Aman, In india people tend to put foot mat in their cars , which sometimes blocks the entire clutch movement. I can see there is foot mat here as well. Can you please check if the foot rest is below the foot mat. I tend to remove the foot mat if I am driving somebody else's car. Try next time by removing the foot mat, it will give you a better driving experience if not already.
