Thanks for the review. I hope we start seeing more of this type of tuning (neutral with bass boost, anti pinna). I personally prefer this to Meta tuning.

Neutral with bass boost is my fav tuning. It's super easy to eq as well. If the treble is messed up, it's difficult to fix it.

I love this kind of tuning. There's no shortage of iems with neutral with bass boost, but unfortunately only a few sounds good.

The driver configuration is interesting. That PZT is there for the highs right? I also got my unit on the Saturday, will listen and share my review soon.

I am considering a pair of these. I currently have a pair of geekwold gk100s that have pzt drivers. They are for the highs yeah, I've noticed these can be a little shouty and I suspect it's because of the pzt, I also think they do add some detail personally. But the nx8 sounds promising overall. Would love to see your review. What is your initial opinion?

Hi! Great review How are they compared to aful explorer and ziigaat doscinco ? I own the aful explorer, wanted to find the upgrade in terms of quality in the bass more same amount but tighter and impactful. I also don’t like emphesized cymbals over the rest of the of the range. Maybe these or meta tuned

Are you asking if you want the same amount of bass as the Explorer, or do you want more?

@ could be the same amount or a bit higher below 200hz I like the impact, for example in comparison moondrop variations have more impact/tight/attack (assuming better quality) but the cut makes me feeling that something is missing. Another thing is that I listen to medium/high volume so maybe that’s probably why many others don’t do it for me because of the shoutiness and peaks in the treble, that normally is ok when listened to lower volumes. Is there any set that you recommend for high volume listening ? I’m considering a meta tune without treble peak, or even the doscinco

How would you say this one compares to the Juzear 61t? They look to be tuned fairly similarly.

The 61T has a bit more bass, and a warmer sound. The NX8 has slightly clearer vocals.

How does the bass between this and the anvil differ? I’m sure this has more sub bass but I’m curious which one has more punch and impact and if either has more mid bass detail
