woah, that is true beauty. You know, you were the one to inspire me to play cello, that was 2 years ago and I don't have time for lessons any more but I teach myself and I get better every day. I even started learning the violin. and every time I feel like I can't do it or that I am not motivated enough I come back to your videos (especially the starwars medley and the take me to church cover) and listen to it and it motivates me every time. thank you Nicholas Your skill level is amazing and I feel like you really love playing ♡

Interesting that listening to good music inspires others. I notice that comments on channels like this are respectful and kind: pity 'normal' youtube isn't always like that! I play oboe and piano and found that hearing great artists speak about their work motivated me to keep trying; to keep aiming for the next summit of achievement. Don't ever give up -playing creates a bubble of peace in difficult times and the adrenaline just flows from the creation of good choons.

Wow this is wonderful and it hit me deep inside. I played violin for 8 years and was in a band with a bunch of cellos and violins and we played a lot of pirates of the caribbean, so this is super nostalgic for me, but also bittersweet, I had to stop playing violin because i couldn't practice because of my rapidly worsening mental health. So this reminds me of all of the times I disappointed my teachers and got yelled at at practice because I kept messing up. But it also reminds me of the best feeling, the one you get when 20 people around you are playing perfect and loud together and you just feel the music in your chest and can't help but smile. Thank you for reminding me of those fond memories.

You took wonderful music and made it even better! It's unbelievable what happened here- I cant deside if I wanna cry or laugh or doing both at the same time because this really touches me deeply. You arranged it so well and all three of you played it incredibly: it's a true piece of art. I love EVERYTHING of it, but when " Angelica" fades into "my name is Barbossa" I always get goosbumps, every single time I listen to it- and I have been coming back to watch this video for years now...
@rosie45823 жыл бұрын
I died from joy as I just saw that I can buy this wonderful arrangement. This is one of the wonderfulest thing that I've ever listened to. I was thinking of giving up on Cello. Two years of practicing but once again, but teacher left and I can't find a new one where I live. I don't want to do this alone and do bad things and gaining bad habits. I am learning violin and piano too and I am afraid I can't get enough time to practice all of these. But listening to this, there is no way I could bring my cello back. Thank you.
@animeheartofpassion7 жыл бұрын
I can't thank you enough for not including the main theme from He's a Pirate. I hear everywhere it was getting on my nerves despite being an epic piece of music. I loved your own choice of tracks, At Wit's End is my favourite, Angelica was done brilliantly as well.
