It's true that Naruto is known for having many flashbacks, but they're supposed to be a few years apart episodes not just 1 month or so because you binge watched the whole thing so its seems a bit forced. otherwhise its pretty nice and usually it's cool to see such flashbacks of previous characters after a moment

nick, the thing with Darui getting sucked up into Ginkaku and Kinkaku's gourd sealing thingy: i'm pretty sure its a Japanese wordplay thing, where the word "drab" and the words "timid rabbit" sound the exact same in Japanese. like how, idk, deer and dear sound the exact same when spoken aloud. that's why he started getting sucked up into it. but then as he was getting sucked up, he said "apologies Atsui and Samui" one more time, and coincidentally that one more time made "apologies" his new most used word, which is then why he escaped the sealing at the last second.
