Thank you for name checking Richie Hayward. His sense of pocket and groove was peerless. Playing against his shuffles either live or studio was a transcendent experience. A true southern gentleman. Called him up about a week after moving to LA. Went straight to voice message. Turned out he passed a fortnight before. Truly amazing, sincere, quietly funny human being. Richie you are missed.

Nick, you are absolutely correct. You can definitely get the same sound out of a 16 as you would out of a 18, especially if you tune it properly. So I totally agree with you there. But I definitely love watching you play. You're a very big inspiration for me. Considering I love just playing Kenny Chesney or country music in general. Also I absolutely love your kit. I really wish you could see mine, but anyhow Love the video that you posted. And hopefully one day my dream will come true, thank you for your time that you've shared with us and I wish you all the best on your tour brother!

Nordic shells, NC edges. The floor toms and kick are fine for tulip ply but 12 and 13 have zero volume. Way overpriced for shells they don't make. Great snare drums.
