It wasn't a fist fight because it wasn't mutual and that's an important point. They didn't square off at each other and commence to fight. Draymond committed an outright assault. He initiated the fight. He escalated the fight. And he was damn lucky Poole wasn't more significantly injured. Draymond should be suspended by the team for the first five games of the regular season for assaulting Poole. This incident was not nothing. Draymond has some serious self-control problems.

But it’s football that’s what they signed up for, if sacking QB becomes basically 2 hand touch like practice it’s gonna take a major excitement element out of the game as well as a major component of the game. as a former college player myself I’m sure QBs don’t want to get hit too hard but they definitely don’t want to play 2 hand touch. If that’s the case it might as well become Padless Flag football

The best thing the nfl can do if they want to add more games and not have the championship always being won by the team that has the least injuries every season is expand the rosters by 10 players or so. That way teams can rotate players and be deeper at the critical positions
