Thank you for "taking me away" from the frozen monotony of January in New England! I could watch your life for hours. Remember that we live a crazy busy life here in the states and crave the outdoors in winter and what you might consider to be a boring day would be an absolute treasure. Beautiful job! 😀👍❤️

You might think it was boring but I love your lifestyle. Everyday stuff in the gorgeous natural setting of your home. Picking vegetables straight from the garden. A walk in the woods. What could be better. Thanks for sharing your "boring" day.

Hello… just to say you have just the right level of music to voice chat, thank you. So often it’s a struggle on other iTunes. Well done on getting it so right :)) looks very beautiful in Positano. Loved the dress shop. The new technology coming I heard you will no longer need to clean your pool again. Water will be clean everywhere but will be right for water loving things. Fish and frogs and bigger lol. Electricity free and loads more. Love the pretty pinnies in that shop with lots of lemon things. Perfect. Then when you go to your house where you have olives, perfect again! Luvvit 🤣

Even in the dead of winter, I still find it interesting. The salad looks good, I’ll have to try to make that too! You have such a big garden and so many oranges! I love how Holly goes everywhere with you, so cute. Thanks for sharing your day :-)

You have a beautiful, lovely garden! The fennel feathery fronds taste good in stir fry, or omelette...or use to garnish salad. yummm! 😄

Another great video. Definitely NOT boring. The salad is delightful. Christine made some to go with a steak we had the other evening. We have fennel growing in our Devon garden. But ours is 2.5 metres tall with no bulb. It looks really good in the winter when all the green has died back. I thought the birds would like it, but they prefer the sunflower hearts we put in the feader.. Especially the colourfull gold finches . I guess they are artful
@NickiPositano7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Christine. We don't get many birds at all in our garden, maybe thats because of the cats though!

U can't imagine how proud you make us italians when comes to see an english girl who eats an orange and fennel salad from her garden! I used to live in London for 6 years and I always thought how would english people react to real italian cuisine and now seeing you, I'm so satisfied!! and I actually would like to ask you if you ever go back to England what would you eat? I'd like to see your italian as well I'm sure you have a good level! Love Amalfi coast and Naples is my fav italian city after Rome! Thanks a lot, I enjoyed the video! Greetings from a sicilian guy!

I'm in England at the moment and have just been out for dinner and had lobster (so much cheaper than in Italy!). I think I've spoken Italian in a couple of videos.. Maybe the Pathway of the Gods one..

Missing Positano:(. We are changing out artwork and decor in our family room specifically so I can put the Positano pics up! Where did you find your cute dining chairs? DIY?

Hi Nicki. Love your videos. My hubby and I will be there in May 2018. Can you answer a question. We live in Central, CA and most houses have a soft water system as the hard water reals havoc on the pipes etc.. It also helps keep my hair so wonderfully nice and soft. When we visit Europe...and don’t stay in a hotel the hard water makes my hair feel sticky, flat, gummy...as if I didn’t rinse it well. I’ve tried a LOT of different solutions, but nothing seems to work. Apple Cider vinegar, bottle water to rinse with, clarifying shampoos, BEER(!)...nothing seems to work. I know this is a vain question, but I would LOVE to have my hair actually look decent when we are traveling there. Has anyone else experience this problem?
@NickiPositano7 жыл бұрын
The water is hard in Italy and it is also very humid on the Amalfi Coast so you'll just have to lie with it I'm afraid! My hair is completely different when I am in the UK.
@PattiMass17 жыл бұрын
Thanks Nicki for your input. Boo...I was hoping for a solution. Oh well...matted, 'oily' looking hair it is. HA!
@NickiPositano7 жыл бұрын
Well, we don't all walk around with matted oily hair in Italy...
@PattiMass17 жыл бұрын
Please forgive me. I meant that this is the way MY hair responds. It seems like everyone else's hair looks amazing. Not sure why my hair reacts that way to the hard water.
