@@jeniebear It's sad that we live in a society now where we have to worry about people hating on us for having a different opinion. 22 is quite young, but I was a mom at 24 and I didn't feel like I was too young at the time. My son is 23 and his fiance is 21 and they just had a baby. They absolutely do have childish qualities about them still, but my future daughter in law is such a wonderful mother! I think maybe it just depends on the person. I have a 25 year old niece that I cannot see having a baby right now, or any time soon. I would never in a million years try to make you feel bad for thinking differently than me. Can you imagine how boring life would be if we all thought exactly the same??

One time my mom left me with my then six month old baby sister because it was cold out and she had to take our other sister to the orthodontist anyway I was still 13 and my mom left her with me but my sister started crying uncontrollably and she wouldn’t stop. I got overwhelmed after trying everything to get her to stop (feeding, checking diaper, rocking etc,.) I called family that lived a few blocks away but they were all doing something luckily the aunt that lived across the hallway came eventually and held her. (I didn’t call her first because I didn’t have her number and I didn’t know if she was still at work or not

Many people assume that 22 is a young age to have a baby, but I don’t have any older siblings like my friends do, and my parents had me 5 months after their marriage. I had my period when I was 13 I couldn’t imagine getting a bby a year after despite circumstances. No one should have to become a parent without choice. To be ripped from your innocence and then have to live with that pain, is heartbreaking. A round of applause to all young parents who throw away there childhood and become a mother or father like they knew nothing else. Not everyone is that mature and a lot still live as kids with kids. Not really. At 22 you will only have been a real adult, responsible for yourself and taking care of all of lifes problems on your own, for 4 years (more if your parents suck). You have no real idea who you are yet and have barely even really lived, so the chances of you raising a healthy, well adjusted child, are pretty slim. My husband's mother was 16 when she got married and had him when she was 17, His father was 19. That was considered young, but not uncommon. Nobody I know who had kids young has ever regretted it. They are now in their 40's and 50's and grandparents and still very active and enjoying their families.
