The eastern plains are beautiful! But I need wilderness land to play in. It's all just farms and sage put there. No trees or mountains! Just the comanche grassland! Not enough for me 🫠

I've started appreciating the eastern side more lately. Where you from? It's funny in my mind I just lump most of the east into "west Kansas" "west Nebraska" or "north panhandle"

Awesome video their doing the same thing here in Scotland. Building on on brown and green field sites. On the subject of water where in California is the big pipe mentioned by the Donald. That directs fresh water out into the Pacific so adding to the water problems.

I'm delighted to see you passing through my neck of the woods, been living on the Western slope since '98. If you ever come back t through Delta county again detour to go over the Grand Mesa. Sorry DeVries wasn't open when you stopped by, I love buying produce from them and they could have really told you about farming in the area. I also commend you for pronouncing Olathe correctly.

City Market = Kroger. You should have driven out to Route 65 and then down to Delta - you would have loved that drive. Thanks for showing this part of Colorado! I used to own some land out there, and visited frequently. Great folks. If you haven't, you should drive Nevada 93 either up from Vegas or down to it from Ely. Great Basin NP is along there too. Just did that a couple days ago and it is an awesome drive.

Best ever trips honestly were the back roads and off highways to get all around. Loved every dang time went off the highway and took the backways home. Even getting a little lost a time or 2. However, this was about 15 years ago.

How are you liking California, I mean Calirado? Are you passing through Douglas County again?

Not true

Polis should never try to correct anyone on the pronunciation. He's a devout Californian that has turned this state into California.

Dude, you got one of the best channels! Please keep making your content. I learn so much. I'm appreciative of it. You probably know the US better than anybody now. NICK JOHNSON for PRESIDENT!

Nice video Nick. I've spent many a vacation traveling the state myself. By the way, Ouray is pronounced Your-RAY by the locals, vs. OOH-ray. It was named for Chief Ouray of the Ute nation.

Great video…spent some time there last summer. Sad to see the same thing happening there that’s happening where I live in the Texas hill country. Hard for young people to get a start…we’re killing the middle class

Yeah there are a lot of ppl moving into rural towns in TX hill country. Wimberly, dripping springs, Fredericksburg and now Johnson city. Grew up in Hunt and nothing ever really changes out there but now there are new multi million dollar homes popping up frequently.

Grand Junction seemed pretty cool... but man, Ouray is BEAUTIFUL! Yes, Ouray was packed but NOT Gatlinburg TN packed.

I used to live about 45 min south of Durango in Northern New Mexico. Was really cool to see you in Durango and at the Bar D. The San Juan Mountains in Southwest Colorado are some of the most beautiful mountains in the Colorado Rockies! I learned to ski at Purgatory! Made many trips across southern Colorado in my life. Now we spend a lot of time in central Colorado. (Salida, Monarch) Really enjoyed this!
